SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Move America Forward (MAF), a nationally recognized military care package 501(c)3 charity, together with local volunteers, community leaders, and members of the military community, will be shipping out Christmas care packages to American troops in harm’s way on the front lines throughout the world. We will be shipping over 2,000 care packages that are filled with items like See’s candy, candy canes, hot chocolate, and Christmas stockings full of special treats as well as packing an additional 500 boxes. Each care package also includes a special message letting our troops know they are loved and supported.
The care packages will be assembled and shipped on Wednesday, December 21st from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Please join us to help make sure our troops are not forgotten this Christmas!

Local media are invited to join us and do a story about the troops receiving care packages with our volunteers and local military in uniform. Visuals will include volunteers and members of the military who will be assembling boxes, applying labels to care packages, and loading packages into USPS shipping containers.
