Help Sailors Aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt
Friends, as you know about three weeks ago the USS Theodore Roosevelt was dispatched to the Gulf of Aden off the coast of Yemen to stop the flow of Iranian weapons and material support to the Houthi rebels that have taken control of Yemen by bloodthirsty aggression.
Move America Forward had received some requests directly from the sailors aboard the USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT and we sent some care packages their way.
Today, we received a reply back with this photo of the crew of the big aircraft carrier.
These sailors are still in the path of Iran’s Navy and we are now preparing to send more support – make a donation now to get your care package on board this shipment! Hurry! Click here to donate now!
Weeks ago there was a showdown when one convoy of up to 9 Iranian ships that seemed bound for Yemen turned around and went back to Iran after the USS Theodore Roosevelt entered the waters near Yemen. We don’t know what those ships contained but clearly they did not want the US to know what was in those vessels.
Now Iran is saying they plan to send a new fleet to Yemen with humanitarian aid and that they will escort this fleet with Iranian warships to protect them from possible US intervention.

Iranian military leaders are warning that any efforts to block passage of a supposed aid ship heading for Yemen “will spark war in the region,” according to multiple regional reports.Iran will not permit its Yemen-bound ship to be inspected by any outside countries, a move that could complicate U.S. efforts to stop Tehran from smuggling weapons and other munitions to Yemeni rebels. The warning also was sent to the Saudi Arabian government, which is positioned against Iran in the fight raging in Yemen.”The countries involved in war against Yemen are no way allowed to inspect the Islamic Republic of Iran’s ship which is carrying humanitarian aid,” Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham said in a statement on Wednesday published by the country’s state-run media.
These ships are purported to contain 2,500 tons of aid supplies, but we should be highly suspicious of that claim. A tactic that Iran has used before, claiming to be noble humanitarians sending aid, but secretly mixing guns and bombs into the supplies to help arm the insurgency.
Due to their past behavior we have every reason to suspect that Iran will try again with this new fleet, to smuggle weapons to the Houthis. We hope that the US works with Saudi Arabia to blockade this fleet until every box is inspected to make sure Iran is not doing it again!
Hurry and donate NOW to increase the size of this imminent shipment!!! These items are impossible to find overseas, so for the troops who receive them, it’s like a little piece of home.

ISIS has just released a new propaganda video, a cartoon depiction of ISIS jihadists capturing and beheading President Barack Hussein Obama! The video is translated by MEMRI, a research organization that monitors and translates media from all over the Muslim world focusing on exposing propaganda that supports terrorist and anti-semitic ideology.

You have to wonder what ISIS has against Obama…I mean sure he has bombed them a little bit here and there, but not enough to hurt them and I guarantee it’s far less than the shock and awe they would have got if Bush was still president.
ISIS really ought to be grateful, they owe their very existence to President Obama. If he had not first, pulled U.S. troops out of Iraq and then chosen to stay completely out of the Syria civil war, ISIS would not even exist. Nor would they hold so much territory in Eastern Syria and huge parts of Iraq today.
/// PRESS RELEASE ///
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Move America Forward, the largest grassroots pro-troop organization in the U.S., warned Jordan against their plan to conduct a prisoner exchange with the terrorist group calling themselves the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, better known as ISIS, or ISIL. Jordanian officials made public a plan to trade for a Jordanian pilot captured by ISIS in exchange for freeing an Iraqi terrorist convicted of taking part in several hotel bombings in 2005 and sentenced to death for her terrorist crimes.
“This is a dangerous path that the Jordanians are going down, and I would urge them to immediately back out of this deal and completely sever all diplomatic channels with ISIS,” said Danny Gonzalez, Communications Director for Move America Forward.
“There is a fundamental problem at the core of this controversy that says you should never, ever negotiate with non-state actors like ISIS. Though they call themselves the Islamic State, they are not a country and should never be treated with the legitimacy that we treat a nation-state. They are a group of terrorists, Islamic extremists, and they have no diplomatic standing. Once you start negotiating with them as you would a nation-state, you give them legitimacy and that gives them power.”
“Jordan should focus on joining the United States and other Arab countries to hunt down and eradicate ISIS, not parley with them,” said Gonzalez. “This also sets a very dangerous precedent because if ISIS gets what they want this time, they know there is future potential for more ransoms or exchanges and that will lead to more people being kidnapped. It immediately raises the value of any potential kidnapping target such as any Americans that may be in Iraq, be they aid workers or members of our military,” warned Gonzalez.
“The United States should also not be negotiating with ISIS, and President Obama has to share some of the blame for this after he was willing to negotiate prisoner exchanges with the Taliban in return for releasing Guantanamo Detainees.
“That set a bad precedent that contributes to this situation and we need to roll that back and re-affirm our policy that the United States and Her allies do not, and will never be willing to negotiate with terrorists regardless of what name they call themselves by,” said Gonzalez.
