Care Package Community Partnership (Donate Items)
The Way It Works:
At the check out of any of your participating locations, simply ask the customer if they would like to make a donation to the troops by buying a product you currently sell. Any items bought can be then picked up by MAF staff or shipped to the MAF offices as a tax deductible gift from your company. The items collected will be included in each Care Packages that we send out. That’s it!
The items we look for are the same items your customers already buy with the exception of perishable items. Please keep them in their original packaging so they can make the long trip to our troops. For accounting purposes we ask you to provide the number and value of items donated so that we can generate a tax receipt.
- Show your community and customers that you support the brave men and women of the Armed Forces
- Drive sales up in your stores as every extra item donated is already in stock and paid for at the store by the customer
- We provide all you need for the small store counter display (if desired)
- Generates thousands of extra sales that goes to those who deserve our support the most: our U.S. Troops
Community Partnership Program Participants *Partial
Paradies Lagardère – Starting in 2013, the Paradies family company, which operates in more than 500 stores in over 75 airports and hotels across the nation, to form a community program to make it easy for any company to participate in our award winning Care Package program for U.S. Military personnel serving in Afghanistan. Giving customers the chance to make a matching donation of the same item that they purchased for themselves, to be sent to deployed troops half way across the world.
See’s For Soldiers ~ This program started over a decade ago and organized by a soldier in uniform produces thousands of pounds of See’s Candy for our troops and also messages to our troops from See’s stores statewide! Through their network of Kiwanis Clubs in California we very appreciatively use all they candy they provide us in our Care Packages.
We call this a Win! Win! Win! program. Americans have an easy way to support our troops, local charities make money to put back in the community, and our troops get not only a wonderful treat for the holidays but the morale boost all year long! Win! Win! Win!
