Troops Truly Appreciate Support

MAF’s Year-in-Review of 2013 Day 6

To start off the new year on the right foot, Move America Forward is taking a look back at some of our highlights from 2013. It’s a great reminder of what we have accomplished together, with you our supporters. None of these care packages or events could have taken place without your generous donations and support! Thank you for a great 2013!

MAF Joins the Million Vet March on Washington

In October during the government ‘shutdown’ where Obama closed war memorials,  MAF helped organize a huge rally where thousands of veterans marched on Washington DC to take back our war memorials and send a message to President Obama to stop playing politics with our troops.
MAF sent boots on the ground to join with tens of thousands of veterans coming from all across the country to take a stand. The rally was a big success and got tons of media attention. MAF was well represented by entertainer Diana Nagy and MAF Outreach Director Scott Raab!

MAF Launches Benghazi Truth Petition

In October and throughout November MAF joined with several Senators on the hill who were demanding to hear testimony from Benghazi survivors to get answers on some of the many unanswered questions that remain even a year after the attack.

Senator Lindsay Graham said “”I’m going to block every appointment in the United States Senate until the survivors are being made available to the Congress. We need to get to the bottom of this,” the South Carolina Republican said on “Fox & Friends.”

“Fourteen months later, the survivors of Benghazi have not been made available to the U.S. Congress for oversight purposes,” Graham said, referring to the attack that took place on Sept. 11, 2012, that took the lives of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.”

This is the perfect time to consider making one last holiday donation for our troops by sponsoring a care package from Move America Forward. Whether it’s a Christmas Care Package, K9 Care Package for the working dogs in their squad, or a Wounded Warrior Care Package! Help us start strong in 2014 and together we will continue to do great things for our troops!
