Troops in Afghanistan Sent Back THIS Photo to Thank You!

Above is a photo sent to us from three grateful soldiers in Afghanistan who received care packages from Move America Forward for Christmas just a few weeks ago. They’re not coming home anytime soon, because they still have a job to do in Afghanistan and we need to continue supporting them until that mission is complete!

DON’T FORGET OUR TROOPS ARE STILL IN HARM’S WAY!

With all the talk in the media and press about future plans for troop withdrawls, it can be tempting to just assume that the war in Afghanistan is pretty much over, wrapped up and done with. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Let’s show our troops overseas how proud we are of their accomplishments.
Express your gratitude by sending a care package from home.

The newspaper writers and pundits on MSNBC talk about 2014 like it’s tomorrow, but for our troops on the ground, fighting the Taliban every day, 2014 is a lifetime away. They risk their lives fighting a dangerous enemy every day, and every day could be another casualty or injury to one of our brave men or women in unifrom.

Don’t forget all about our troops simply because the politicians are talking about withdrawing some a year from now! There are still troops in harm’s way and they need our continued and uninterrupted support!

Our troops have done an amazing job in Afghanistan fighting back the Taliban and training the Afghan police and army to defend their own villages. So much work has been invested in this endeavor, but we still have almost 68,000 troops there, who will continue to serve through the year into 2014.
