FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
“You Don’t Speak for Me, Cindy” Tour O Families of Troops Serving in Iraq & Afghanistan Coming to Crawford, Texas in Caravan Led by Move America Forward O Event Culminates in “We Support Our Troops & Their Mission in Iraq” Rally on Saturday, August 28, 2005 – in Crawford, TX (SACRAMENTO) – The national organization that supports our troops and the war against terrorism, Move America Forward (website: www.MoveAmericaForward.org), is announcing today the formation of the “You Don’t Speak for Me, Cindy” tour. Move America Forward will lead a caravan of military family members opposed to the anti-military antics of Cindy Sheehan (the anti-war activist) to Crawford, Texas. The caravan will depart for Crawford early next week from different locations around the country. Move America Forward is working with a number of organizations around the nation to arrange for these multiple caravans. The main group will depart from San Francisco next Monday, launched by Move America Forward’s Chairman, Melanie Morgan, from her radio show on KSFO Radio. The trip will culminate in a rally in Crawford on Saturday, August 27, 2005 to support our troops AND their mission in Iraq. “The overwhelming majority of military families support their loved ones and the missions they are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. These military families do not share Cindy Sheehan’s view of the war on terrorism, and the true story needs to be told. We invite Americans to join us en masse in Crawford, Texas on August 27 so we can send a message to terrorists around the world that American resolve is stronger than ever,” Morgan said. Deborah Johns of Marine Moms will lead the delegation from San Francisco. Her son, William, has served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and she appears in a television commercial produced by Move America Forward where she proclaims her support for our troops and their fight against terrorism. “Cindy Sheehan doesn’t speak for me, nor does she speak for any of the military families that I have been involved with. I am deeply sorry for Ms. Sheehan’s loss; however, Ms. Sheehan’s actions are only causing pain to those of us who have loved ones serving in the war against terrorism. We understand the need to fight the terrorists overseas rather than face attack here at home,” said Deborah Johns. “We understand that it was the terrorists led by Al Qaeda in Iraq who are responsible for the deaths of U.S. service members, including Casey Sheehan,” concluded Johns. The main caravan will stop at numerous destinations along the way for rallies, meetings with supporters, press conferences and media interviews. Move America Forward will also broadcast national television ads to raise awareness of the caravan and rally.
Move America Forward will provide continuous updates on the caravan and rally at its website – www.MoveAmericaForward.org.

In Iraq yesterday a roadside bomb killed 14 Marines. Two days earlier, six Marines from the same outfit were ambushed and killed. Yet those Marines were not the terrorists’ primary target. You were. Our enemies know the Marines won’t quit. But they hope you will.
The terrorists realize now that they can’t defeat our military. Instead, they hope to achieve what the North Vietnamese did: To blur the reality on the ground and convince the American public that we’re losing.

For Immediate Release - August 1, 2005
(SACRAMENTO) – The national organization that supports our troops and the war against terrorism, Move America Forward (website: www.MoveAmericaForward.org), is praising President George W. Bush for the long-delayed appointment of John Bolton as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. “Despite a strong majority of support for John Bolton in the U.S. Senate, the game-playing by a group of U.S. Senators had delayed the United States the strong representation we need at the U.N. today. Winning the war on terrorism requires an American presence at the United Nations, and they don’t come any better or any tougher than John Bolton,” Move America Forward’s Chairman, Melanie Morgan said. MEDIA ADVISORY - July 23, 2005
To counter anti-American art Featured at Attorney General’s Office
Downtown Sacramento, 13th & I Streets - Thursday, July 28 3:30 – 10:00 PM (SACRAMENTO) – The controversy surrounding the display of an anti-American, anti-military, anti-Christian “art” exhibit at the publicly-funded California Department of Justice building in downtown Sacramento will take a turn in a different direction this week.
The offensive anti-American art can be seen here:
Move America Forward, a non-profit organization based in Sacramento, California that supports our troops and their heroic fight against terrorism (website: www.MoveAmericaForward.org) will be organizing a pro-American counter art exhibit, titled, “I LOVE AMERICA” on the sidewalks outside of the anti-American exhibit. “The offensive material displayed at the Department of Justice building sends the message to the terrorists around the world that American morale is low. Having just returned from Iraq I can tell you that our soldiers and Marines reported that every anti-American news story is used as a rallying cry by the terrorist insurgents as evidence that they are winning the war for hearts and minds,” said Melanie Morgan, Chairman of Move America Forward. “We are not saying people do not have a right to produce and display such offensive art, but it should not be sponsored by a taxpayer funded official and displayed in a taxpayer funded building. Does the Attorney General not have any shame by promoting a display that undermines American forces when we are in an armed conflict in the war on terrorism?” asked Morgan. While the Attorney General has tried to distance his involvement in the affair, Move America Forward has obtained the press release showing Lockyer’s sponsorship of the exhibit. Lockyer said he was “honored” to sponsor the exhibit, praising the display’s “style” and “beauty” SEE: http://www.moveamericaforward.org/images/uploads/blogimages/PRESS_RELEASE_ZOOM.JPG “Instead of simply protesting that the display is in a taxpayer funded facility, and sponsored by the taxpayer funded Attorney General and California Arts Council, we wanted to do something pro-active and positive. And that’s when we came up with the idea for the ‘I LOVE AMERICA’ art exhibit,” Morgan said.

The “I LOVE AMERICA” art exhibit will be featured in front of the California Department of Justice building (located at 1300 I Street in Downtown Sacramento) from 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM this Thursday, July 28, 2005. The pro-American art exhibit will be directly in front of the offensive exhibit on display on the first floor of the California Department of Justice building. Members of the public are invited to contribute their own artwork to the exhibit. Move America Forward asks that entries be approximately 8.5” x 11” and be accompanied with a note of support for our troops serving in Iraq & Afghanistan, either on the back or on a separate piece of paper. After the display is taken down Thursday night, Move America Forward will pack each individual display, along with note of support to our troops, and will ship them to the men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan as a morale booster. Each piece of artwork will be accompanied by a shipment of premium ground coffee and cookies as part of Move America Forward’s “Cookies & Coffee for Our Troops” program. Local Sacramento coffee roaster, Cornerstone Coffee, is the official coffee supplier for this program. CLICK HERE for More Information on “I LOVE AMERICA” Exhibit Move America Forward and Sacramento radio host, Mark Williams of KFBK 1530 Sacramento, will be the hosts of this event, however we are working with talk radio hosts from around the country to promote the exhibit. Already, artwork has been arriving from around the nation. The very first piece arrived via overnight mail from Key West, Florida with a poignant message in support of our troops.

Additionally hundreds of people are expected for a pro-America rally that will take place simultaneous to the art exhibit. The rally will take place in front of the California Department of Justice building at 1300 I Street in Downtown Sacramento (corner of 13th and I streets). Participants are invited to bring American flags, and signs showcasing their support for our troops and America’s heritage of democracy and liberty. “We want to send a message heard round the world that Americans stand united with our troops and the fight against terrorism. And we want to make it very clear that those who constantly howl about how bad they think our nation is are but a very small minority,” Melanie Morgan said. The event will also be carried live on KFBK 1530 AM in Sacramento from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Thursday, July 28. For more information on these two events visit www.MoveAmericaForward.org.
Also, details of the “I LOVE AMERICA” art exhibit and pro-American rally will be discussed from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM each day on the “Lee Rodgers & Melanie Morgan Show” on KSFO 560 AM in northern California and during the evenings from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Mark William’s “Night Talk Live” on KFBK 1530 AM.

Anti-American Art at Department of Justice
(SACRAMENTO) – California’s top law enforcement officer, Attorney General Bill Lockyer, has set off a firestorm by showcasing anti-American, anti-military, anti-Christian and anti-Semitic artwork in the California Department of Justice building. “A Creative Merger: Lawyers & Artists” exhibit features a number of offensive, anti-American exhibits including a U.S. flag in the shape of the continental United States being flushed down a toilet. Pictures from the exhibit can be found at the website for Move America Forward (website: www.MoveAmericaForward.org), a pro-troop, non-profit organization that is organizing a counter-exhibit showcasing patriotic artwork. The exhibit is sponsored by a taxpayer funded entity (the California Arts Council) and California’s top law enforcement officer, Attorney General Bill Lockyer. Lockyer is listed as an official sponsor of the event according to a press release issued on July 12, 2005 by the California Arts Council (a taxpayer-funded entity). The news release quotes Lockyer as saying: “It is an honor to co-host this powerful exhibit and display the talent of our legal community,” Lockyer said. “Creative expression stimulates freedom of thought, appreciation for diversity and opens new windows onto the world in which we live. The collected works of these fine artists – and lawyers – achieve these worthwhile objectives with style and beauty.” A copy of the press release citing Lockyer’s sponsorship of the exhibit along with the sponsorship of the taxpayer-funded Californa Arts Council is available at the Move America Forward website (www.MoveAmericaForward.org). *Note: Listen for continuing updates on the pro-American response including the “I LOVE AMERICA” rebuttal exhibit that will be unveiled on Thursday, July 28th from 3:30 - 10:00 PM at 1300 I Street in Sacramento, California. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - July 13, 2005
Saddam Harbored 4,000 Terrorists on War’s Eve
(SACRAMENTO) – The “Voices of Soldiers” Truth Tour organized by Move America Forward (website: www.MoveAmericaForward.org) and RighTalk Radio Network (www.RighTalk.com) has learned in an exclusive briefing that Saddam Hussein harbored approximately 4,000 terrorists in Iraq in the six months leading up to Operation Iraqi Freedom. Iraqi Lt. General Abdul Qader Jassim told the “Voices of Soldiers” Truth Tour delegation that these Iraqi-trained terrorists were designed to undermine Iraq’s enemies, most specifically Israel and Iran. Jassim also said that many of these same individuals are believed to be involved with or assisting the terrorist insurgents seeking to undermine the current Iraq regime. Lt. General Abdul Qader Jassim reported that recruiting, training and equipping Iraqi forces has progressed significantly with Iraqi security forces about 60% of where they need to be to assume complete control in Iraq’s defense and protection of its people from terrorist attacks. Also during the briefing, U.S. Col. Ben Hodges announced that as of today 18 Coalition Bases have been turned over to Iraqi Forces. There are an additional 91 Coalition bases that still need to be turned over to the Iraqi’s, Col. Hodges said. The briefings by Iraqi Lt. General Jassim and U.S. Col. Hodges lasted approximately 2 hours and took place in Baghdad, Iraq. “Saddam Hussein was operating as one of the world’s largest sponsors of terrorism before Coalition Forces put him out of business,” said Howard Kaloogian, Co-Chairman of Move America Forward. “We are closer to winning the war on terrorism because of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and anyone who doubts that needs only look to see how determined Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups are to see us fail here,” Kaloogian said. By Pro-Troop Organization (SACRAMENTO) – The non-profit group that supports our troops and the war against terrorism, Move America Forward (website: www.MoveAmericaForward.org), has released a new ad that defends U.S. Troops from attacks made against them by misguided U.S. Senator, Dick Durbin (Democrat-Illinois).

“I LOVE GITMO” CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED BY MOVE AMERICA FORWARD
(SACRAMENTO) – The non-profit group that supports our troops and the war against terrorism, Move America Forward (website: www.MoveAmericaForward.org) has launched a campaign to rally public support for the Detention Center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The “I LOVE GITMO” campaign will take to the airwaves in the form of paid commercials urging Americans to support the men and women operating the terrorist detention facility at Guantanamo Bay. constituents can know about their “Blame America First” antics. One example is Illinois Senator, Dick Durbin who said GITMO and those running it had created an environment akin to the “Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime—Pol Pot or others.” “GITMO is a key arsenal in the fight against terrorism, and Americans must stand behind the heroic men and women of the Armed Forces who serve proudly there,” said Howard Kaloogian, Co-Chair of Move America Forward. The campaign to support GITMO was launched on Thursday with the release of the “I LOVE GITMO” bumper sticker. Thousands of these bumper stickers have been sold in the first 24 hours they were available online at www.MoveAmericaForward.org “These terrorists detained are not common criminals; they are enemy combatants in our war against terrorism. They are not entitled to all of the rights that someone arrested in this country gets. Just like we held German and Japanese prisoners of war during World War II, we have to confine enemy combatants so they stop killing Americans serving their country in Iraq and Afghanistan,” Kaloogian added. On the website Move America Forward notes that the food served to the terrorist detainees and terrorist suspects held at GITMO is better in many cases than the food being served to our troops in the Armed Services. Congressional decree prevents the military from serving MRE’s (Meals Ready to Eat – vacuum packed sealed food bags served to U.S. troops) to detainees because it would be considered “abuse.” Instead, in the past week the anti-American terrorists and terrorist suspects held at GITMO have been served:
*Orange Glazed Chicken
In addition, on Ramadan the terrorists held at GITMO are served lamb, dates and honey as part of their religious observance. GITMO detainees also are provided prayer mats and prayer oils and are allowed to pray five times per day – something that even U.S. schoolchildren are forbidden from doing. “In recent days we’ve seen certain liberal politicians have the audacity to undermine American troops by falsely accusing them of torture and misconduct, including bogus charges of desecrating the Koran” said Melanie Morgan, Co-Chair of Move America Forward. “These shameless individuals, interesting in selling magazines or rallying their leftist political followers, are willing to denigrate the important mission being conducted by our troops in Guantanamo Bay. “By falsely provoking anti-American sentiment overseas, these domestic enemies who have fanned the flames of a ‘Gulag at Guantanamo’ are jeopardizing the lives and well being of our servicemen and women stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan,” said Morgan.
