Code Pink shutters doors As Support Dropped for the Radical Group

A couple of Marine Corps supporters stopped by to bid farewell to the Code Pink headquarters in Albany, Calif. The Code Pink agitators - known for outrageous Pepto Bismol clothing and even more outrageous language and rude, obnoxious behavior – lost their home in the very liberal Bay Area. They held a going out of business sale.
Code Pink was the vile group that attacked our Marines and tried to drive them out of Berkeley. Move America Forward and thousands of our patriotic friends stood up to Code Pink in a historic showdown in Berkeley. The pro-troop patriots still stand strong and the Code Pink gaggle of agitators flew the coop.

I’ve done some research and found that Code Pink was looking down the barrel at homelessness for a while.  Here’s something from their

title="website:">website:

In July of ‘06, we launched an SOS campaign to Save our Site on Solano Ave. Our wonderful CodePINK office on Solano Ave was in danger of closing unless we could find 24 of you who were willing & able to pledge $50 per month - more if you can, less if you can’t - to keep open our site! Many people generously stepped up to the plate with both pledges and one-time contributions to help support our office. “

Get the idea? These self-described witches didn’t have the support they claimed. They were failing for several years – not long after they launched the rag-tag group.
Here’s more of their sadsack story:

Do we want to maintain an office in the East Bay?
The future of our CodePINK office is in jeopardy. And the future of our office is in our hands!
Let’s talk! Do we really want to support a central location for meeting?
for storing supplies, banners, merchandise?
for gathering to make props, flyers, banners, etc.?
for a phone line, computer & printer?
for phone banking?
for updating the web site & calendar?
for viewing documentaries, movies?
for a place to strategize, plan, practice actions, theater, & events?
for providing a viable visible location for the community?
for providing a bulletin board for announcements, etc.?
for activists to sign-up, come to, volunteer at?
for activist trainings & workshops?
for the general public to drop in for information & to sign up?

The answer is: No, we don’t want a central location for anti-military agitators to hold meetings and hatch new anti-American plans.

Good riddance. And to our Marines who still hold the fort in Berkeley: Semper Fi!!!!
