MAF Presents: The Daily Blog
Here at the Move America Forward Daily Blog we chronicle the good news on the War on Terrorism you might
not have heard about on the evening news. We also shine the spotlight on those whose conduct against our
country and our military is unbecoming.

Blazing Hot Tour!
Move America Forward’s merry band of caravaners are headed west on Interstate 80- to Sacramento after an inspiring gathering of patriots in Carson City, Nev. (So excuse my writing if it’s a bit off. I’m in a moving motorhome!)
More than 200 people showed up in red, white and blue at MAF’s first stop on our “Fight for Victory Tour” and heard talks from military mothers, Chairman Melanie Morgan, Vice Chairman Lt. Col. Buzz Patterson, and Presidential candidate Duncan Hunter.
Across the street in front of the office of Sen. Harry “cut-and-run” Reid were about 40 lefties who support surrender in Iraq. A couple stray 5150s (police code for nuts) ventured to the right side to stir up some problems.
The pro-troop crowd waved flags and listened to vocalist Diana Nagy sing the “Star Spangled Banner” and “God Bless America” as the leftists howled like wounded hyenas “war mongers.”
The problem with their thoughtful position is they were yelling at a group that included decorated veterans from past wars, children, soldiers, and Gold Star families, those whose sons had given their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Debbie Lee’s son was the first Navy Seal to give his life in Iraq. Her message was simple: We should all work together, Republicans and Democrats, to win the war against radical Muslim Jihadists who want to kill us because we are Americans.
Lee will continue in MAF’s cross country caravan that ends in Washington D.C. where thousands of patriots will gather to show Congress that America supports our troops and their mission.
Deborah Johns is a Blue Star mother whose son has served three tours in Iraq and signed up for a fourth. She told the cheering crowd that defeat in Iraq will only happen if the left forces a loss.
Hunter, who just won the Republican straw poll in Texas, talked about his son who has served in Iraq and how he knows America is winning in the Middle Eastern country.
People came to Nevada from California and all around both states. Many are now in our caravan and heading back to California.
