Behind The Scenes: Anti-War Activists Exposed
One of the more interesting aspects of Move America Forward’s investigation into the attacks on military recruiting centers was the discovery of comments made by the perpetrators themselves – and those who support them.
Shockingly, individuals involved in the criminal behavior of attacking U.S. military recruiting centers have regularly boasted about their attacks. Others have provided counsel on how best to avoid detection and prosecution.
We are providing you with a sampling of what these individuals have said following attacks against various military recruiting centers.
SPOKANE, WASHINGTON
Anti-military activists discuss the KXLY TV-4 report, “Spokane: Grand jury indicts anarchist over recruiting station vandalism.” The discussion takes place at Infoshop.org – CLICK HERE TO VIEW IT.
Other comments concern how individuals can take actions to avoid being caught attacking recruiting centers. And another individual admonishes: “Never admit to anything ever, make them have to form their case. Completely. No plea deals. No coping up. Period.”
NEW YORK CITY, NY Prior to the bombing of the Times Square military recruiting center, anti-war activists had repeatedly targeted the center, closing it down several times. They call their efforts, “Operation No Recruits.”
BOMBING OF TIMES SQUARE RECRUITING CENTER An anti-war blogger cheered on the Times Square military recruiting center bombing, shamelessly declaring that, “Sometimes the news in the morning just warms your heart.”
The individual goes on to say that, “anti-war does not mean anti-violence.” READ IT FOR YOURSELF - HERE. Led by the War Resisters League of New York, they made this declaration ahead of the bombing:
The New York chapter of the War Resisters League can be reached via email at: nycwrl@att.net At the New York Indymedia website, activists celebrated their protests that had previously forced the closure of the recruiting center. They called people who disagreed with their tactics, “Nazis,” and called for further actions “until they close it for good.” CLICK HERE to READ the DISCUSSION
WASHINGTON, D.C. The group, “Funk the War,” found a door unlocked to the Washington, D.C. recruiting center and proceeded to brag that they: “exploited the situation by demonstrating to them first hand how an occupying force behaves.”
PROTESTORS OVERPOWER RECRUITERS - TAKE OVER CENTER Individuals celebrated the attack on the recruiting center at the DC Indymedia website. They called recruiters, “child predator(s)” and fantasizing about murdering “war profiteers” and recruiters:
You can read the full discussion forum – CLICK HERE to VIEW PITTSBURGH, PA The anti-war movement has been especially active in Pittsburgh, PA. There have been repeated attacks on the military recruiting center here. As individuals noted in a discussion forum, they say, “the American military, from top to bottom is a hideous blight on our planet.” VIEW THE DISCUSSION FORUM HERE.
PROTESTORS SHUT DOWN PITTSBURGH RECRUITING CENTER Activists bragged about the fact that they had shut down or interfered with the ability of the recruiting station to function six separate times. YOU CAN READ THEIR ACCOUNT HERE.
The activists were reportedly able to overpower police, managing to “unarrest” a number of those who police were attempting to take into custody:
But now Pittsburgh anti-war activists want to take things even further. They are planning a March 19th protest where they have announced their plans to bring, “a movable cage in which to confine military recruiters until they no longer pose a danger to our friends and neighbors.” READ THEIR VILE COMMENTS HERE.
SAN JOSE, CA After anti-war activists set fire to the military recruiting center in San Jose, California, they bragged that recruiting centers made for good targets for “direct action” because they, “are often far away from military bases and completely unguarded.” READ THE CELEBRATION OF THE ARSON ATTACK HERE.
Another individual agrees, saying it’s a “good point.”
Note that they do not view Islamic terrorists as “the enemy” but rather our troops. Other anti-war discussion forums cheered on the act of arson at the recruiting center. This thread in particular contained a string of offensive and disturbing comments. VIEW IT HERE.

Marines Save Iraqi child, then raise money for Heart Surgery
Marines Save Iraqi child, then raise money for Heart Surgery
You know the U.S. Marines, the ones Berkeley ingrates don’t want in their town? Well, they found a little girl in Iraq during a house visit whose fingers were blue. They got her help, then determined that she needed an expensive heart surgery. So they raised money - $30,000 – sent her to America (yes, that, bad, bad, country) and had her healed.
“These types of missions demonstrate our willingness to partner with the Iraqi people,” said Lt. Col William T. Bufkin, the 3rd MAW (Fwd.) future operations officer. “It shows that we support Iraq as a whole. Anytime the Aviation Combat Element can serve more than a military need, it only strengthens our cause here.”
Yes, the Marines who are “unwelcome intruders in Berkeley,” according to the unrepentant City Council, saved this Iraqi child. All in a day’s work.
Here’s the entire story:
By Lance Cpl. Jessica Aranda
AL ASAD, Iraq – Humanitarian assistance missions are just one of the ways 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing contributes to building a stronger bond between the Marine Corps and local nationals throughout al-Anbar.
Three-year-old Amenah Fattah returned from Nashville, Tenn., after receiving open-heart surgery to repair a defect, as there were no Iraqi facilities capable of executing the extensive medical procedures.
The Marines of 3rd Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment first discovered the toddler during a routine patrol through Haditha in 2007. The Marines noticed the girl’s blue lips and fingers and sought help.
“To see someone in need and want to help is human nature, and typical of a Marine,” said Sgt. Maj. Frank Scott, the 3rd MAW (Fwd.) sergeant major. “It was simply the right thing to do. The people are our main focus here, and Operation Amenah shows that.”
After discovering the child’s potentially fatal condition, the concerned Marines raised more than $30,000. The surgery performed at Monroe Carell, Jr., Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt came to no cost to the family.
A year after Amenah’s first encounter with the Marines, she arrived home with good health and another chance at life.
A KC-130J Hercules belonging to Marine Aeriel Refeuling Squadron 352 transported Amenah’s father to Baghdad, where he reunited with his wife and daughter. From there, the family traveled to Al Asad, where they boarded an MV-22 Osprey to Haditha

Cindy Sheehan’s Campaign to kick Blue Angels and Fleet Week out of San Francisco
Cindy Sheehan, candidate for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s congressional seat, is steering her campaign toward the anti-Americanism that struck Times’ Square in the form of a bomb.
Tonight at Sheehan’s San Francisco campaign office, left-wing activists are kicking off a campaign to make the Blue Angels and Fleet Week unwelcome and uninvited in San Francisco. And if that sounds familiar, that’s because the Berkeley City Council said those very words about U.S. Marine recruiters in that liberal city.
Here’s what activist Ann Garrison wrote in an invitation for the deviants of the left who have tried to stop recruiting around the United States with bombs, chains and violence:
I just filed paper with the San Francisco Department of Elections, so as to begin collecting signatures to put an initiative on the November ballot, in San Francisco, that would make Fleet Week and the Blue Angels Air Show, etc., which are an all forces military recruitment drive, unwelcome in and around the City and County of San Francisco. A signature gathering drive will begin tonight at the Cindy Sheehan for Congress campaign headquarters, 1260 Mission, between 7th and 8th, at 7:00 P.M.
Declaration of Policy: The voters of San Francisco declare the Blue Angels Air Shows and all other military demonstration shows, including the Canadian SnowBirds and the U.S. Army’s Golden Knights Parachute Team, unwelcome in and around the City and County of San Francisco. These military demonstration teams come here every year to recruit our struggling immigrant and inner city youth, and anyone else whom these displays of enormous lethal force might inspire to military enthusiasm, into the U.S. Armed Services, to fight imperial wars for the natural resources of poor nations mischaracterized as “rogue states” because they have abundant natural resources, including uranium, but no nuclear weapons. These resource wars that the military demonstration shows recruit for are currently mischaracterized as the e “Global War on Terrorism.” The voters of San Francisco declare that our hard-earned federal and municipal taxes, and the energies of all our young people, shall be devoted, instead, to sane and constructive activity like education, environmental remediation, and other positive forms of collective self-care. The voters of San Francisco also declare that our taxes and the energies of our youth should circumvent the need for these annual military recruitment demonstrations of enormously lethal force by building a truly renewable energy infrastructure---solar, tidal, and wind. Truly renewable clean energy infrastructure will end the current horrid round of wars for dirty energy fuels, and circumvent the next resource war, for water, which will surely come the dirty energy wars, which so damage and deplete the world’s water resources, continue. ----Ann Garrison
Wow. Whew. This almost leaves me without words. But as long as I have breath in this body, I will also have energy to oppose these cretins who want to stop the United States from defending herself. These are America’s enemies, the people who want to see this beautiful country turned over to a socialist dictator, something along the lines of Fidel Castro or his buddy – and Sheehan’s – Hugo Chavez.
The Blue Angels are among the most gifted fighter pilots. Millions of people watch their performances every year. These leftwing military-haters need to understand the historical significance of San Francisco. That’s right, the City is not just a place that is friendly to gays, alternate lifestyles, and leftover heroin addicts from the ‘60s. It is also a proud city of entrepreneurs and, yes, the Navy!!
I can’t wait to see if Mrs. Pelosi endorses this push to kick out the Blue Angles and Fleet Week.
Texas Teen Wins Silver Star after She saved Soldiers’ Lives
Army Spc. Monica Lin Brown is the second woman since World War II to be awarded the Silver Star.
Monica Lin Brown makes one understand why teenagers make good soldiers: She is brave, strong and selfless. Spc. Brown is also a Texas girl and, after living a couple years in Texas where I attended school, let me just say that Texas turns out more than beauty queens. The women I knew in Texas were all American, all patriot, and pretty to boot - both inside and outside.
The Houston Chonicle reported that that Monica used her own body to protect others who had been hit in a roadside bombs, which the terrorists use because they don’t have the courage to stand up and fight teens like Monica. They are cowards who hide in caves and cover their faces with masks.
Dodging insurgent gunfire, a 19-year-old Lake Jackson soldier used her body to shield five injured comrades after a roadside bomb struck her convoy in Afghanistan last spring. That act of bravery has earned her the Silver Star.
I have another thought when I read about this teenage hero. Is Monica one of the “children” that Code Pink, World Can’t Wait and other anti-American anarchist groups talks about? Is she one of the “kids” these groups are trying to “protect” when they attempt to shut down recruiting stations with violence?
Well, wake up and smell the earth-friendly coffee, Pinkos. Monica knows the truth. She has saved others lives in combat. And, yes, she is a teenager. But she’s a lot more woman than any of you dressed in pink skirts.
