Iraqis Turn Against Terrorists

As the white-flag brigade in the U.S. House and Senate attack Rush Limbaugh to detract from their own weak policies, U.S. soldiers and making more and more headway in Iraq.

Telegraph.co.UK Reporter “Damien McElroy spent a week in the heart of the insurgency in Anbar province in Iraq. In the second of seven exclusive reports he describes how peace and prosperity have returned to a town formerly riven by sectarian killings.”

Footpatrols are hailed with cries of Salaam (Peace) and Habibi (Friend) in streets that were in no-go zones for the coalition a year ago. A ten-man unit of US Marines passes nightly along Husaybah’s market street and zig-zags down alleys into residential areas. As they walk out, the sounds of a town reviving fill the air.

In other words, the hell that Democratic leaders and some weak-kneed Republicans speak of is slowly disappearing. Iraqis tired of the killings by Iranian-backed terrorists are turning on them and turning toward America.

Sweet shops are filled with customers, workshop churn out furniture. “It’s been a while since we hit any trouble,” said patrol leader, Corporal Kristian Bandy. “We get a lot of feedback from the locals now, they tell us where arms caches are and if anyone’s acting suspicious they turn him in.”

In the advanced field combat hospitals run by the Navy in Anbar province, there is suddenly nothing to do. Equipped to handle sudden rushes of dozens of gravely injured troops, the hospitals are empty.

All of this means that the spineless Democratic Party will continue attacks on big-game targets like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and others because their policies have failed and they have nothing but hot air and linguini spines left in their game plan.

Go to The Telegraph to read more of the positive news out or Iraq.

Code Pinkos Deface Berkeley Marine Office

(Hat tip to WeaselZippers.Com
The Pepto Bismol loons are at it again. This time they’ve taken their pink stink to a Marine Officer Recruiting office in Berkeley, where they defaced the building and accused the Marine recruiter of lies that killed children (original ain’t it?)

The Marine who runs the office wrote an open letter to the hatemongers explaining his job and questioned why they would attack his office. Answer: they are anti-American.

First, a little bit about who I am: I am a Marine captain with over eight years of service as a commissioned officer. I flew transport helicopters for most of my time in the Marine Corps before requesting orders to come here. Currently, I am the officer selection officer for the northern Bay Area. My job is to recruit, interview, screen, and evaluate college students and college graduates that show an interest in becoming officers in the Marine Corps. Once they’ve committed to pursuing this program, I help them apply, and if selected, I help them prepare for the rigors of Officer Candidate School and for the challenges of life as a Marine officer. To be eligible for my programs, you have to be either a full-time college student or a college graduate. I don’t pull anyone out of school, and high school students are not eligible.

The Marines need our support, so head out to the office and show ‘em what you got!!

Obama trades in Old Glory for a white flag

Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Hussein Obama has flown his colors since Day 1 of the war against radical Muslim Jihadists. Look no further than his lapel where his little flag pin is missing.

“The truth is that right after 9-11 I had a pin,” Obama said, according to Breitbart.com. “Shortly after 9-11, particularly because as we’re talking about the Iraq war, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security.
“I decided I won’t wear that pin on my chest,” he said in the interview. “Instead, I’m going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testament to my patriotism.”

Uh, no. Obama flies the white flag instead of Old Glory – except when he needs to pose as a pro-troop politician. Then he has no problem stepping in front of the red, white and blue.
Obama’s anti-war antics in the face of serious threats to the United States is nothing less than skin-crawling. Maybe he’s taking to heart his early teachings in Islam and his father’s Muslim faith. Or perhaps it’s his recent “Christian” pastor who is Afro-centric and downright hateful to the backbone of our patriotism.
NewsMax reported this week that the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., the man Obama credits with bringing him into the Christian faith, regularly rants about white folks in his mostly black church.
Wright refers to “white arrogance” and the United States of white America,” according to Jim Davis’ report in NewsMax.com.
“White America got their wakeup call after 9/11,” Wright said, according to the report. “Whie America and the Western world came to realize people of color had not gone away, faded in the woodwork, or just disappeared as the great white West kept on its merry way of ignoring black concerns.”
Huh? OK. I’m an American with Hispanic and Chippewa Indian blood and a little European blood mixed in. I’m not getting his rant. It must be because of that European blood in there blinds me, eh Pastor Wright?
And what does black and white have to do with the crazies who murdered 3,000 innocents on 9/11? The radical Muslim jihadists are happy to kill anybody who doesn’t bow to their religion, no matter the color of their skin.
I have researched and written about Rev. Wright at MelanieMorgan.com. read more and you’ll understand why Obama’s indoctrination led him to drop Old Glory for the white flag of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi’s party.

Statement on Dishonorable, And Phony, Soldiers

DISHONORABLE, AND YES PHONY, SOLDIERS

STATEMENT BY MELANIE MORGAN

· Chairman, Move America Forward
· Radio Host, KSFO 560 AM – San Francisco
· Author, American Mourning
· Columnist, WorldNetDaily

Rush Limbaugh has come under attack by liberal bloggers and some in the news media for a statement he made on his show about “phony soldiers.” (See the segment on Hannity & Colmes regarding this issue - WATCH IT HERE.

Now I am under attack for defending Rush.

Despite the cries of protest from the anti-war and anti-military crowd, Limbaugh was spot-on right in his characterization.

Limbaugh mentioned in his show the case of Jessie Adam Macbeth, who falsely claimed to have committed war crimes during service in Iraq. The allegations struck a chord with those who wish to regularly impugn the character and honor of the men and women of the United States military. They jumped on the story like jackals on fallen prey, ripping away at the integrity of our heroic troops who serve in a hot war some 7,000 miles away.

There’s only one problem. Jessie Macbeth was lying. He was not an Army Ranger as he had claimed, and he was not a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Macbeth was discharged from the army before he had even completed basic training, because according to representatives with the U.S. Army, he was either unfit, unsuitable, or both, to serve in the military.

Critics of Rush Limbaugh have now launched a full-scale war against Mr. Limbaugh that reaches all the way to the Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, threatening congressional action to condemn Limbaugh.

But it is the anti-war left that needs to be condemned, once again.

The anti-war Left keeps getting caught promoting bogus allegations made by “phony soldiers” because the Left is desperate for any allegations that are made which might discredit Operation Iraqi Freedom. They do this for one simple reason – they so hate this war (and the broader “war on terror” that they shamelessly deride as a “war of error") that they are determined to undermine the war effort and hope that America loses so they can play a pathetic and dangerous game of “I told you so.”

Not content with disparaging the reputation of a 4-star general, as in their “General Betray Us” attack on U.S. General David Petraeus, the anti-military Left has not stopped for one moment to realize that Limbaugh’s accusations are correct. There are a number of examples of “phony soldiers” such as Jessie Macbeth who have lied about their military service or experiences with the deliberate intent to be to harm the military as a whole, and undermine the missions of the men and women serving in the war on terror.
Credit goes to Michelle Malkin for chronicling a litany of these “phony soldiers” of whom I will highlight just a few.

Amorita Randall

As RegretTheError.com reports, Randall is the, “former naval construction worker who told the New York Times magazine that she served in Iraq, was in a Humvee that blew up, and was raped twice while serving in the Navy.

Not.

It turns out that Amorita Randall was not in a Humvee that blew up in Iraq, and she was not raped twice while serving in the Navy…

The truth is she never even served in Iraq.

At all.

Ever.

Jimmy Massey

Former Marine Staff Sgt. Jimmy Massey is an Iraq war veteran who claimed that he and his unit committed war atrocities including the murder of innocent Iraqis, shooting a 4-year old Iraqi girl in the head and tractor trailers of dead Iraqi’s hauled around by the U.S. military.

Massey published a book in France titled “Kill, Kill, Kill” to profit from his allegations against his fellow brothers and sisters in the military.

However, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Associated Press both did investigative reporting and found out the alleged incidents never took place.

As the Post-Dispatch reported:

“Each of his claims is either demonstrably false or exaggerated - according to his fellow Marines, Massey’s own admissions, and the five journalists who were embedded with Massey’s unit, including a reporter and photographer from the Post-Dispatch and reporters from The Associated Press and The Wall Street Journal.”

Scott Thomas Beauchamp

The most recent, and better-known, example is that of Army Private Scott Thomas Beauchamp, who made a series of allegations of atrocities committed by U.S. troops. Beauchamp used these allegations to support his anti-war views he made in essays he penned for The New Republic magazine.

When news media outlets attempted to verify Beauchamp’s allegations, Beauchamp recanted, signing a sworn statement admitting that his allegations were either exaggerations or falsehoods.

As one of Beauchamp’s fiancées explained to Richard Miniter of Pajamas Media about Beauchamp: “He hates the army. The only reason he joined was because he wanted to have more experience to write about.”

No wonder that Rush Limbaugh went on to say that, “They joined to be in Iraq.”

A Letter from Marc Alan Lee

This letter was written by Marc Alan Lee, the first Navy Seal killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom.  We are posting it with the approval and consent of Marc’s mother, Debbie Lee.

Marc wrote this letter to family and friends around the July 4th Independence Day celebrations during 2006.  Marc was killed on August 2, 2006 while helping his military brothers who were under fire in Ramadi, Iraq.

From Marc Alan Lee, U.S. Navy Seal

Glory is something that some men chase and others find themselves stumbling upon, not expecting it to find them. Either way it is a noble gesture that one finds bestowed upon them. My question is when does glory fade away and become a wrongful crusade, or an unjustified means by which consumes one completely?

I have seen war.

I have seen death, the sorrow that encompasses your entire being as a man breathes his last. I can only pray and hope that none of you will ever have to experience some of these things I have seen and felt here.

I have felt fear and have felt adrenaline pump through my veins making me seem invincible. I will be honest and say that some of the things I have seen here are unjustified and uncalled for. However for the most part we are helping this country. It will take more years than most expect, but we will get Iraq to stand on its own feet.

Most of what I have seen here I will never really mention or speak of, only due to the nature of those involved. I have seen a man give his food to a hungry child and family. Today I saw a hospital that most of us would refuse to receive treatment from. The filth and smell would allow most of us to not be able to stand to enter, let alone get medicine from.

However you will be relieved to know that coalition forces have started to provide security for and supply medicine and equipment to help aid in the cause. I have seen amazing things happen here; however I have seen the sad part of war too. I have seen the morals of a man who cares nothing of human life…

I have seen hate towards a nation’s people who has never committed a wrong, except being born of a third world, ill educated and ignorant to western civilization.  It is not everybody who feels this way only a select few but it brings questions to mind. Is it ok for one to consider themselves superior to another race?

Surprising we are not a stranger to this sort of attitude. Meaning that in our own country we discriminate against someone for what nationality they are, their education level, their social status. We distinguish our role models as multi-million dollar sports heroes or talented actors and actress who complain about not getting millions of dollars more then they are currently getting paid. Our country is a great country, don’t get me wrong on this, otherwise none of us would be living there. My point of this is how can we come over here and help a less than fortunate country without holding contempt or hate towards them if we can’t do it in our country. I try to do my part over here, but the truth is over there, United States, I do nothing but take. Ask yourself when was the last time you donated clothes that you hadn’t worn out. When was the last time you paid for a random stranger’s cup of coffee, meal or maybe even a tank of gas? When was the last time you helped a person with the groceries into or out of their car?

Think to yourself and wonder what it would feel like if when the bill for the meal came and you were told it was already paid for. More random acts of kindness like this would change our country and our reputation as a country. It is not unknown to most of us that the rest of the world looks at us with doubt towards our humanity and morals.

I am not here to preach or to say look at me, because I am just as at fault as the next person. I find that being here makes me realize the great country we have and the obligation we have to keep it that way. The 4th has just come and gone and I received many emails thanking me for helping keep America great and free. I take no credit for the career path I have chosen; I can only give it to those of you who are reading this, because each one of you has contributed to me and who I am.

However what I do over here is only a small percent of what keeps our country great. I think the truth to our greatness is each other. Purity, morals and kindness, passed down to each generation through example.

So to all my family and friends, do me a favor and pass on the kindness, the love, the precious gift of human life to each other so that when your children come into contact with a great conflict that we are now faced with here in Iraq, that they are people of humanity, of pure motives, of compassion.

This is our real part to keep America free!

HAPPY 4th Love Ya

Marc Lee

P.S. Half way through the deployment can’t wait to see all of your faces
