MAF Presents: The Daily Blog
Here at the Move America Forward Daily Blog we chronicle the good news on the War on Terrorism you might
not have heard about on the evening news. We also shine the spotlight on those whose conduct against our
country and our military is unbecoming.

Partisans Attack Patriots
Move America Forward has joined hands with other patriotic groups that will meet in Washington D.C. to support our troops, their mission and Gen. David Petraeus as he brings news about America’s progress in Iraq.
Move America Forward begins its cross-country trip on Monday in front of Sen. Harry Reid’s Senate office in Nevada. MAF is a nonprofit, nonpartisan group that was established to support American troops and their missions in the war against radical Muslim Jihadists. People from all political persuasions help MAF with its goals, and we welcome all who are supportive of our goals of suppoting our troops.
Sadly, Democrats have begun gathering protestors to counter MAF’s efforts.
The Democratic Party even lies about Move America Forward to incite its defeatist minions:
Move America Forward*, a pro-war, California-based Republican front group, opposes a change of course in Iraq and has organized to push back on Americans’ resolve to end the war.
It must be difficult for the Nevada Democrats to be honest. As I said above, Move America Forward is proudly nonpartisan. Our mission is simply to support our troops, which we do every day while the Harry Reids of the world whimper and whine and twist the truth about the facts about the war our men and women are fighting.
This isn’t an isolated incident either - the national, state, county and city Democratic Party websites have all joined in to criticize and oppose the “Fight for Victory Tour”:
National Democratic Party:
http://www.democrats.org/page/event/detail/rally/4vcdz
Nevada - State Democratic Party:
http://www.nvdems.com/news.php?newsid=868
Washoe County Democratic Party:
http://www.washoedems.org/node/549
Carson City Democratic Party:
http://www.carsoncitydems.org/08/21/2007/rally-troops-and-change-iraq
Many Democrats, including Sen. Lieberman, do understand what happens if we pull out of Iraq before our generals tell us we should.
Ignorance of why America is at war is not reserved for Democrats, of course. And MAF is not visiting Reid’s office because he is a Democrat. He will hear from America’s patriots because he has said that American troops have already lost the war.
Reid’s position is that of a loser. A quitter. A yellow-bellied partisan who wants to use the war in Iraq as a political tool. He and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are not only the leaders of the Democrat Party, but leaders of the white-flag brigade.
What is sad is the late, great Democrat Party has sunken to attacking patriots, those who believe that America will not lose the war in Iraq.
Those who attack patriots should go ahead and make it official. Read on . . .
How to join al-Qaida
An Islamist website is offering important safety tips on how to join al-Qaida, Osama bin Laden’s group that has infested Iraq, killing our troops, and that murdered 3,000 innocents on Sept. 11, 2001, in America.
Consider the hints a manual for giving one’s life to jihad against the infidels (anybody who doesn’t practice radical Islam.
Go to Pat Dollard’s Web site for the nitty gritty:
“As the first step, imagine that Al-Qaeda does not exist and that you are interested [in waging] jihad - what would you do in this case?… If you know any young people - whether one, two, or more - in your area, mosque, or university who are as dedicated and enthusiastic about jihad as you are, come to an understanding with them, and together form a cell whose objective is to help Islam and only Islam…
“At first, your cell should have no more than five members, all absolutely trustworthy… The cell must have a commander and a shura council… The commander must clearly realize that he is Osama bin Laden to the cell members…
“Each cell should have a source of funding… When you have several members, you will [surely] find the funds for your cell… Then you should buy weapons, make plans, brainstorm, plot your plans, monitor your enemy’s important objectives, and study its moves. Set a goal; for example, assassinating the American ambassador - is it so difficult? Is it [indeed] difficult for someone who has already crushed America in her own home?
“What is the difference between you and the hero of the New York attack, Muhammad Atta, who planned an action which even today shakes the world every time it is mentioned? Assassinating the ambassador takes no more than a gun and a bullet. One could disguise oneself as a peddler in order to tail [the target], which shouldn’t cost a lot of money…
Nice, eh?
This is exactly why the United States must never relent in the face of radical Islam. We can win and we will win.

Katie, Katie, Katie
CBS News is sending anchorette Katie Couric to Baghdad. This is a dog-and-pony show meant to help CBS’ wimpy ratings. As a longtime professional journalist, I am sickened by this type of “parachute journalism” in which a reporter pops into a war zone or other hotspot, stays in safe zones, then reports as if they are veteran war journalist Ernie Pile reincarnated.
If you want to know what’s going on, what type of progress is happening, what victory looks like and what death in a warzone is, you need to read and watch folks who live with the troops. Eat with them. And, when hell hits, fight with them.
Jeff Emanuel is embedded with our troops in Iraq as you read this.
Jeff wrote an insightful article on Katie’s courage. He says it all, really.
I suggest you go to PatDollard.com if you want to see some real reporting. Pat is my friend and he has more backbone than most journalists I have met. Also go to MattSanchez.com and Michael Yon’s website for real news during real time by real reporters.
And what about the magnificent pictures that frame a moment in time? Photographers give their lives to bring the truth that we can see with our own eyes.
We owe our lives to our troops. We owe the truth to reporters such as Matt, Michael, Jeff and Pat who tell it. Katie should stay home and read the news from a teleprompter.
Thanks for supporting our troops
I want to thank each of you for your generosity with donations, volunteering to pack Wounded Warrior Packs and sending supportive note to our troops. All of us at Move America Forward are anxious to get on the long road to Washington D.C. next week, when we will meet thousands of patriots who want the United States to win the war against radical Jihadists.
Crazies from the quit-duck-and-run crowd have criticized patriots and MAF for our efforts to support our troops and Gen. David Petraeus. Salon.com, in which House Speaker Nancy Pelosi invested, headlined a story about MAF’s “Fight for Victory Tour” with these demeaning words, “Cookies and hankies for our “Wounded Warriors.” The writer must have been confused with the Pelosi white-flag brigade, which uses white hankies to signal their surrender.
We just need to pray that these hankie-wipes come out of their self-defeating, self-loathing behavior. Neither their words nor their frantic actions will stop red-blooded Americans.
The bottom line is that I appreciate every note you write, every package you send, and every prayer you offer.
Now, come meet us on the road! Our route is on the front page.

Sheehan: Martial law in the U.S.
The black helicopter crowd is at it again. Now the lefties that escaped their rubber rooms claim President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney want to start a war with Iran so they can impose martial law in America.
Whew. Leading the bing-bong brigade are Congressional candidate Cindy Sheehan (aka the Peace Mom) and her buddy Ann Wright. They have signed a letter that begins:
To the American people, and to peace loving individuals everywhere:
“Massive evidence has come to our attention which shows that the backers, controllers, and allies of Vice President Dick Cheney are determined to orchestrate and manufacture a new 9/11 terror incident, and/or a new Gulf of Tonkin war provocation over the coming weeks and months. Such events would be used by the Bush administration as a pretext for launching an aggressive war against Iran, quite possibly with nuclear weapons, and for imposing a regime of martial law here in the United States.
Are you guys serious? I think they are. Sheehan has recently consorted with 9/11-truthers who know nothing of the truth. They believe that Bush and Cheney also blew up the Twin Towers on Sept. 11, 2001, so they could march to war with Iraq.
Really? I remember plenty of warnings to Saddam Hussein from the United Nations, which isn’t exactly a group of America lovers. I have spoken to pilots who flew near Iraq and the no-fly zone before Allied Troops went to war with the country in 2003. These pilots told me that Iraq’s troops regularly fired upon them. Saddam never stopped war with the United States, he tossed out weapons inspectors, and defied United Nation’s demands.
I urge anybody who has credible evidence – documents, recordings, video – of Bush or Cheney planning the newest scheme to contact me. I will be the first investigative reporter to break the story open. My email is
Logic says martial law could not happen. Haven’t the liberals complained that our troops are overextended in Iraq and that even the National Guard is depleted? Who the hell is going to enforce martial law? Our Armed Forces made of volunteers. They are fathers, mothers, children and cousins. Do these conspiracy barkers really believe they would turn their guns on U.S. citizens?
I just want to let Sheehan and Wright know that, no thanks to their ilk, martial law would not work very well in the United States. We are well armed, and I’m not talking bb guns. I live near Sheehan’s Dixon home, so I’ll be glad to cover for the White Flag brigade once I’ve helped secure my home and those of my friends and neighbors.
Meanwhile Sheehan might want to get some weapons training. She won’t need it to use against U.S. troops, but the radical Muslim Jihadists will be knocking on our doors if we don’t stop them in the Middle East.
Mookie’s Pooped Troops
Muqtada al Sadr has called off his troops, who have raised hell in Iraq and killed countless Americans. Mookie’s Mahdi Army is suspending activity and its terrorism and guerilla attacks for six months so the army can be reorganized.
Looks like the surge put the squeeze on the Shiite leader. Al Sadr is a Shiite cleric with ties to Iran, which bragged this week that it is ready to fill a void if American and Allied troops cut-and-run as Armchair Gen. Pelosi and other leftists are demanding.
Al Sadr is also the monster responsible for killing Casey Sheehan, the hero son of Cindy Sheehan, and his friend Justin Johnson, whose father went to fight in Iraq after al Sadr’s army killed him with a roadside bomb.
We declare the freezing of the Mahdi Army without exception in order to rehabilitate it in a way that will safeguard its ideological image within a maximum period of six months starting from the day this statement is issued,” al-Sadr’s spokesman said, reading from a statement by al-Sadr.
In Najaf, al-Sadr’s spokesman said the order also means the Mahdi Army will no longer launch attacks against U.S. and other coalition forces.
“It also includes suspending the taking up of arms against occupiers as well as others,” Ahmed al-Shaibani told reporters.
Asked if Mahdi militiamen would defend themselves against provocations, he replied: “We will deal with it when it happens.”
The news of al Sadr’s troop’ stand-down should be taken with a pinch of skepticism. The nasty beast is known for lying, as are many radical Muslim Jihadists who see nothing wrong with lying to infidels, or those who don’t believe in cutting throats to spread Islam.
No worries, Iran will take over . . .
As I mentioned above, Iran is doing more than rattling its sabers and training terrorists to kill Americans in Iraq these days. Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad promised Tuesdayto fill any void once Americans leave the country, which is stepping up oppression of its own people with arrests, imprisonments, hangings and stonings.
The political power of the occupiers is collapsing rapidly,” Ahmadinejad said at a press conference in Tehran, referring to U.S. troops in Iraq. “Soon, we will see a huge power vacuum in the region. Of course, we are prepared to fill the gap, with the help of neighbors and regional friends like Saudi Arabia, and with the help of the Iraqi nation.”
Apparently Mr. I’m-Gonna’Need-a-Job has already put his bets in for Nancy Pelosi and the White Flag brigade. Bad bet, buddy. America is not ready to allow a third-rate dictator takeover another country – by filling the void.
Miles to go before we sleep
Move America Forward and thousands of patriots are tuning up plans to turn up the heat on the White Flag brigade.
Despite some spineless politicians and other various turncoats’ best try, Americans are not beaten down. We will not falter, despite the quitters in Congress.
Go to Move America Forward to check out our “Fight to Win Tour” caravan across the country. Please send cards and notes of support for our injured troops. Deadline is Thursday for the Wounded Warrior Packs we will deliver during our cross-country trip. We are always happy to send them!
.
We are proud to support our troops and we are proud to say we are flag wavers. We are proud of our country’s fight to protect herself from radical Muslim Jihadists and all enemies.

Driving Route of Caravan
Below is the planned route that the caravan of vehicles participating in the "Fight for Victory Tour" will take. We invite you to get in your own vehicle and drive along with us. If you can, put some patriotic decorations on your car - lots of red, white and blue & American flags.
You can also feel free to line the caravan route. In our last such national caravan we had people waving American flags from their properties, others who posted signs supporting our troops along the highways and roads we took. Let's show the world we love and support our troops and we won't back down in our efforts to give them the support on the home front to achieve VICTORY in the war on terrorism.
