MAF Presents: The Daily File Blog

Here at the Move America Forward Daily File we chronicle the good news on the War on Terrorism you might not have heard about on the evening news. We also shine the spotlight on those whose conduct against our country and our military is unbecoming.

Partisans Attack Patriots

Move America Forward has joined hands with other patriotic groups that will meet in Washington D.C. to support our troops, their mission and Gen. David Petraeus as he brings news about America’s progress in Iraq.

Move America Forward begins its cross-country trip on Monday in front of Sen. Harry Reid’s Senate office in Nevada. MAF is a nonprofit, nonpartisan group that was established to support American troops and their missions in the war against radical Muslim Jihadists. People from all political persuasions help MAF with its goals, and we welcome all who are supportive of our goals of suppoting our troops.

Sadly, Democrats have begun gathering protestors to counter MAF’s efforts.

The Democratic Party even lies about Move America Forward to incite its defeatist minions:

Move America Forward*, a pro-war, California-based Republican front group, opposes a change of course in Iraq and has organized to push back on Americans’ resolve to end the war.

It must be difficult for the Nevada Democrats to be honest. As I said above, Move America Forward is proudly nonpartisan. Our mission is simply to support our troops, which we do every day while the Harry Reids of the world whimper and whine and twist the truth about the facts about the war our men and women are fighting.

This isn’t an isolated incident either - the national, state, county and city Democratic Party websites have all joined in to criticize and oppose the “Fight for Victory Tour”:

National Democratic Party:
http://www.democrats.org/page/event/detail/rally/4vcdz

Nevada - State Democratic Party:
http://www.nvdems.com/news.php?newsid=868

Washoe County Democratic Party:
http://www.washoedems.org/node/549

Carson City Democratic Party:
http://www.carsoncitydems.org/08/21/2007/rally-troops-and-change-iraq

Many Democrats, including Sen. Lieberman, do understand what happens if we pull out of Iraq before our generals tell us we should.

Ignorance of why America is at war is not reserved for Democrats, of course. And MAF is not visiting Reid’s office because he is a Democrat. He will hear from America’s patriots because he has said that American troops have already lost the war.

Reid’s position is that of a loser. A quitter. A yellow-bellied partisan who wants to use the war in Iraq as a political tool. He and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are not only the leaders of the Democrat Party, but leaders of the white-flag brigade.

What is sad is the late, great Democrat Party has sunken to attacking patriots, those who believe that America will not lose the war in Iraq.

Those who attack patriots should go ahead and make it official. Read on . . .

How to join al-Qaida

An Islamist website is offering important safety tips on how to join al-Qaida, Osama bin Laden’s group that has infested Iraq, killing our troops, and that murdered 3,000 innocents on Sept. 11, 2001, in America.

Consider the hints a manual for giving one’s life to jihad against the infidels (anybody who doesn’t practice radical Islam.

Go to Pat Dollard’s Web site for the nitty gritty:

“As the first step, imagine that Al-Qaeda does not exist and that you are interested [in waging] jihad - what would you do in this case?… If you know any young people - whether one, two, or more - in your area, mosque, or university who are as dedicated and enthusiastic about jihad as you are, come to an understanding with them, and together form a cell whose objective is to help Islam and only Islam…

“At first, your cell should have no more than five members, all absolutely trustworthy… The cell must have a commander and a shura council… The commander must clearly realize that he is Osama bin Laden to the cell members…

“Each cell should have a source of funding… When you have several members, you will [surely] find the funds for your cell… Then you should buy weapons, make plans, brainstorm, plot your plans, monitor your enemy’s important objectives, and study its moves. Set a goal; for example, assassinating the American ambassador - is it so difficult? Is it [indeed] difficult for someone who has already crushed America in her own home?

“What is the difference between you and the hero of the New York attack, Muhammad Atta, who planned an action which even today shakes the world every time it is mentioned? Assassinating the ambassador takes no more than a gun and a bullet. One could disguise oneself as a peddler in order to tail [the target], which shouldn’t cost a lot of money…

Nice, eh?

This is exactly why the United States must never relent in the face of radical Islam. We can win and we will win.

Katie, Katie, Katie

CBS News is sending anchorette Katie Couric to Baghdad. This is a dog-and-pony show meant to help CBS’ wimpy ratings. As a longtime professional journalist, I am sickened by this type of “parachute journalism” in which a reporter pops into a war zone or other hotspot, stays in safe zones, then reports as if they are veteran war journalist Ernie Pile reincarnated.
If you want to know what’s going on, what type of progress is happening, what victory looks like and what death in a warzone is, you need to read and watch folks who live with the troops. Eat with them. And, when hell hits, fight with them.
Jeff Emanuel is embedded with our troops in Iraq as you read this.

Jeff wrote an insightful article on Katie’s courage. He says it all, really.

I suggest you go to PatDollard.com if you want to see some real reporting. Pat is my friend and he has more backbone than most journalists I have met. Also go to MattSanchez.com and Michael Yon’s website for real news during real time by real reporters.

And what about the magnificent pictures that frame a moment in time? Photographers give their lives to bring the truth that we can see with our own eyes.

We owe our lives to our troops. We owe the truth to reporters such as Matt, Michael, Jeff and Pat who tell it. Katie should stay home and read the news from a teleprompter.

Sheehan: Martial law in the U.S.

The black helicopter crowd is at it again. Now the lefties that escaped their rubber rooms claim President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney want to start a war with Iran so they can impose martial law in America.

Whew. Leading the bing-bong brigade are Congressional candidate Cindy Sheehan (aka the Peace Mom) and her buddy Ann Wright. They have signed a letter that begins:

To the American people, and to peace loving individuals everywhere:

“Massive evidence has come to our attention which shows that the backers, controllers, and allies of Vice President Dick Cheney are determined to orchestrate and manufacture a new 9/11 terror incident, and/or a new Gulf of Tonkin war provocation over the coming weeks and months. Such events would be used by the Bush administration as a pretext for launching an aggressive war against Iran, quite possibly with nuclear weapons, and for imposing a regime of martial law here in the United States.

Are you guys serious? I think they are. Sheehan has recently consorted with 9/11-truthers who know nothing of the truth. They believe that Bush and Cheney also blew up the Twin Towers on Sept. 11, 2001, so they could march to war with Iraq.

Really? I remember plenty of warnings to Saddam Hussein from the United Nations, which isn’t exactly a group of America lovers. I have spoken to pilots who flew near Iraq and the no-fly zone before Allied Troops went to war with the country in 2003. These pilots told me that Iraq’s troops regularly fired upon them. Saddam never stopped war with the United States, he tossed out weapons inspectors, and defied United Nation’s demands.

I urge anybody who has credible evidence – documents, recordings, video – of Bush or Cheney planning the newest scheme to contact me. I will be the first investigative reporter to break the story open. My email is

Logic says martial law could not happen. Haven’t the liberals complained that our troops are overextended in Iraq and that even the National Guard is depleted? Who the hell is going to enforce martial law? Our Armed Forces made of volunteers. They are fathers, mothers, children and cousins. Do these conspiracy barkers really believe they would turn their guns on U.S. citizens?

I just want to let Sheehan and Wright know that, no thanks to their ilk, martial law would not work very well in the United States. We are well armed, and I’m not talking bb guns. I live near Sheehan’s Dixon home, so I’ll be glad to cover for the White Flag brigade once I’ve helped secure my home and those of my friends and neighbors.

Meanwhile Sheehan might want to get some weapons training. She won’t need it to use against U.S. troops, but the radical Muslim Jihadists will be knocking on our doors if we don’t stop them in the Middle East.

Mookie’s Pooped Troops

Muqtada al Sadr has called off his troops, who have raised hell in Iraq and killed countless Americans. Mookie’s Mahdi Army is suspending activity and its terrorism and guerilla attacks for six months so the army can be reorganized.
Looks like the surge put the squeeze on the Shiite leader. Al Sadr is a Shiite cleric with ties to Iran, which bragged this week that it is ready to fill a void if American and Allied troops cut-and-run as Armchair Gen. Pelosi and other leftists are demanding.
Al Sadr is also the monster responsible for killing Casey Sheehan, the hero son of Cindy Sheehan, and his friend Justin Johnson, whose father went to fight in Iraq after al Sadr’s army killed him with a roadside bomb.

We declare the freezing of the Mahdi Army without exception in order to rehabilitate it in a way that will safeguard its ideological image within a maximum period of six months starting from the day this statement is issued,” al-Sadr’s spokesman said, reading from a statement by al-Sadr.
In Najaf, al-Sadr’s spokesman said the order also means the Mahdi Army will no longer launch attacks against U.S. and other coalition forces.
“It also includes suspending the taking up of arms against occupiers as well as others,” Ahmed al-Shaibani told reporters.
Asked if Mahdi militiamen would defend themselves against provocations, he replied: “We will deal with it when it happens.”

The news of al Sadr’s troop’ stand-down should be taken with a pinch of skepticism. The nasty beast is known for lying, as are many radical Muslim Jihadists who see nothing wrong with lying to infidels, or those who don’t believe in cutting throats to spread Islam.

Driving Route of Caravan

Below is the planned route that the caravan of vehicles participating in the "Fight for Victory Tour" will take. We invite you to get in your own vehicle and drive along with us. If you can, put some patriotic decorations on your car - lots of red, white and blue & American flags.

You can also feel free to line the caravan route. In our last such national caravan we had people waving American flags from their properties, others who posted signs supporting our troops along the highways and roads we took. Let's show the world we love and support our troops and we won't back down in our efforts to give them the support on the home front to achieve VICTORY in the war on terrorism.

Cindy Sheehan in “solidarity” with Iraqis

Retired-but-resuscitated “Peace Mom” Cindy Sheehan is one busy gal. Not only is she campaigning to oust House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, but Sheehan just hooked up with some Iraqis to launch a solidarity movement.

Sheehan is in Jordan where she met her new Iraqi friends and coordinated “mass marches” on Sept. 15 in Washington D.C. and in the Middle East. This was meant to coincide with the release of Gen. David Petraeus’ report on “the surge” of American troops in Iraq that has slowed violence in hot spots.

Sept. 15 coincides with the big rally that culminates Move America Forward’s “Fight for Victory Tour.” While Sheehan and her newfound buddies will demand that America surrenders and pull out of Iraq, Move America Forward will stand with the troops for victory.

After Sheehan is finished berating our troops and Commander in Chief, then calling for “redeployment” – which is code for surrender in Iraq – I wonder if she’ll have time to spend in the congressional district that she hopes to represent. She vowed that she would run a competitive campaign that could win. Really?

Reports: Petraeus’ “Surge” report on Sept. 11

Gen.David Petraeus may release the much-anticipated “surge” report on Sept. 11, instead of four days later, as planned earlier, according to to reports.

This news has set some lefties into panic mode. They are bellyaching about the timing of the release. Anything that has to do with Sept.11 – the anniversary of when radical Muslim Jihadists brought war to our homeland – gets their bowels in an uproar.

Well, it’s time they grow up and face the facts: Muslim terrorists killed 3,000 innocents on American soil on Sept. 11; these same types of radicals are focusing their efforts in Iraq, though they have armies terrorizing innocents around the world, such as in Africa and the Philippines.

No matter how the left and their media cohorts in crime try, they will never force us to forget what happened on that date. People burned to death, jumped from the Twin Towers, sometimes hand-in-hand, and they woke must of us up about the fanatical hatred of the radical Muslim Jihadists.

For those of you who don’t believe they are dangerous, I invite you to put your lives on the line for peace: volunteer to act as human shields for our troops. That way you can see up close what a roadside bomb can do. Maybe then you will be able to envision one of those going off in Manhattan or downtown Atlanta.

Reality hurts.

Speaking of the Destructive Left . . .

Hollywood continues to thumb its nose at America’s war effort. Oliver Stone has stepped forward to help. But he’s offering his “talent” to help another country: Iran.

Yes, Mr. Stone wants to help Iran with its bad image, according to World Net Daily.
Well, isn’t that special? Not only is Stone un-American, he will go so far as to help a terrorist-supporting country with a dismal record of human rights’ violations. And if that’s not enough, Iran is currently engaged in training and arming the United State’s enemies in Iraq.

Stone, whose earlier request for permission to make a documentary about Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad was summarily rejected, is renewing his request, according to filmmaker Alireza Sajjadpur.

“Stone’s publicist referred to the bad image that the U.S. media has given to Islam and Islamic countries and said that the documentary could assist in countering such negative propaganda,” Sajjadpur told the Mehr News Agency.

What happened to the good old days when Hollywood actually helped the United States against its enemies, such as in World War II? Hmmm, it must be Hollywood’s pink underside showing again . . .

For the record, some brave, patriotic and prestigious actors and directors do support our troops. And I appreciate their efforts and will actually pay to see their art.

Congressman Changes Views After Visiting Iraq

File this one under “seeing is believing.”

Congressman Brian Baird (D-Vancouver, WA)

WASHINGTON — Rep. Brian Baird, D-Vancouver, voted against the Iraq war, but the Democrat now says the United States should stay in Iraq as long as it takes to ensure stability in the war-torn country.

Islamic Terrorists (al-Qaida?) Hijacks Plane

Radical Muslims bring us today another hijacked plane www.jihadwatch.com. This time the radical Muslims took over a plane from Turkey as they yelled, “We are Muslims.”

Nobody was killed or injured and the plane is now safe.

So why do al-Qaida and other radical Muslim groups continue to target innocents around the world? (yes, it’s not just Americans who they target in their attacks).

Like it or not, the war America fights today is a war that radical Muslims have waged since the 7th Century when the Prophet Muhammad came to earth and began his war of conversion at the end of a sword. Now we find ourselves in a fight against radical Muslim jihadism waged by true believers of Muhammad’s word, however they have perverted it.

As the murderers of 9/11 used hijacked planes as weapons of mass destruction against the United States, some of us realized the unbelievable hate and tenacity of the racial Muslims. Notice that I say “radical Muslims.”

According to CNN.com:

Antalya Governor Alaaddin Yuksel told reporters that one of the men had claimed to be a member of al Qaeda, Reuters reported. Police also arrested a passenger suspected of being linked to the hijackers, he said.

I have spent the time since the attacks in 2001 studying Islam, meeting with those whom my government calls “Muslim terrorists,” and listening intently to CIA agents, scholars, and Muslims themselves so I can learn more about this religion, which is fast-growing in the United States and has made large inroads in Europe.

I have read the Koran, which is beautifully written. It is clear to me that Muhammad was intent on spreading his religion at any cost.

I love my Muslim friends and believe them as they tell me their religion is peaceful. That is because they are peaceful people. It is the radical Muslims who read Muhammad’s words about jihad and believe the words tell them to kill infidels (non-believers), make them slaves, and even rape Jewish women.

And, yes, the Bible has some sex and violence, but never does Jesus tell Christians to rape and kill in his name. I am saying that the twisted mind of a radical Muslim uses 7th century edicts to drive their attacks. And they won’t stop – not even if every United States citizen puts his head in the sand and pretends he’s in a safe place.

Anybody who cares about freedom in the world and the threat of radical Islam should take a few minutes every day and read Jihadwatch.com.

Muslims gaining in political strength

Muslims pray to Allah all around the United States, but only recently have Muhammad’s followers entered politics and gained political power.

The House of Representatives now has one (of 435) Muslim member. But in areas where large concentrations of Muslims live, such as in areas of Michigan, the Muslim influence is undeniable.

The city of Hamstrack, Mich., implemented the Muslim Call to Prayers some three years ago.  Muslims also worked to gain a majority at the polls in the city.

As I have learned through my studies, Muslims from around the world lobby with strength with U.S. lawmakers.

American Muslims should speak with our lawmakers, as should all good Americans.  In the end, it is the complacency of the masses and the stamina of the minority that rules.

Our Wounded Troops Need Your Help

Move America Forward needs your help to help the lives of our brave troops who have been seriously injured protecting us in the War against Radical Islam.

Please sponsor a wounded warrior pack that we will take to our troops recovering from their injuries at Walter Reed Medical Center and other military medical facilities in the nation.

And don’t forget that we are ready to rumble in our “Fight for Victory Tour to support Gen. David Petraeus, commander of U.S. troops in Iraq, and ALL of our country’s military men and women who give so selflessly to us every day.

Thank you.
