Rolling Thunder Makes Some Noise to Support Our Troops

The veterans group Rolling Thunder, which has worked hard to make sure that Americans never forget about POWs/MIAs left behind in times of combat, is rallying Americans to support they can to those who are serving in Iraq & Afghanistan, risking their lives for our national security.

CLICK HERE to read about their endorsement of President Bush over John Kerry in the presidential race.  You will likely recall the furor that erupted over Kerry’s actions in protest of the Vietnam War when he threw his military medals and ribbons over the White House fence.

More Al Qaeda Savagery - This Time in Saudi Arabia

The reports from Saudi Arabia concerning the Al Qaeda terrorist attack on a housing complex that catered to Westerners are quite unsettling.

The New York Post contains graphic details of what befell those who were trapped inside the compound while Al Qaeda operatives went on a killing spree.  CLICK HERE to read the story in the New York Post.

Folks - the answer to winning the war on terrorism is not turning over world affairs to the United Nations as many in the news media and far left political activists keep demanding.  If we do so, we will heighten the risk that such attacks as that which occurred in Saudi Arabia will happen closer to home.  In the past decade we have suffered numerous attacks from Al Qaeda - both on our own soil, abroad and even against our own naval vessels - before our nation finally woke up following the horrific attacks of September 11th.

If we now give up on the War on Terrorism - and the current focus of that effort in Iraq - the consequences of such surrender will be a vulnerability to heightened terrorist attacks here in the United States for which we will never forgive ourselves as a nation and the ramifications of which will haunt us for an eternity.

Soldier in Jessica Lynch Convoy Was Executed

It saddens me to see the editorial judgment of the mainstream news media.  Where is the outrage and the saturation journalism to cover the mistreatment - in this case it’s not underpants on the head but execution - of an AMERICAN in Iraq?

Reuters is reporting that a U.S. soldier first listed as killed in action while riding in the same convoy as Jessica Lynch was actually captured by Iraqi forces and then shot to death with two bullets to the back.

U.S. Troops Assisting Iraqi Children

*News Alert* to the mainstream media:  Every day in Iraq U.S. servicemen and servicewomen not only help ensure America’s national security but also help to improve the lives of Iraqis who have lived under the terrifying rule of a despot and his bloody regime.

Further evidence of the good work being done (but almost never reported in the media) by U.S. troops can be found at “Operation Iraqi Children.” You can learn more about this organization, their work, and the good deeds of American troops by CLICKING HERE

News Reports: Al Qaeda Planning Summer Attack on United States

Reports from the wire services and Fox News Channel say that evidence points to the planning of an attack by Al Qaeda against the United States.  Fox News reports that, “Retired Lt. Gen. Patrick Hughes (search), the top intelligence official at the Homeland Security Department, warned earlier this month Al Qaeda may be planning to strike the United States with a chemical or biological weapon.

Democrat Congressman: Stakes in Iraq Too High to Back Down

Had enough of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s “Bash America First” drivel?  Sickened by Senator Ted Kennedy’s assertions that the United States has the same moral standards as Saddam Hussein? Well, not all Democrats have been shamefully unpatriotic.

Congressman Jim Marshall from Georgia recognizes that the stakes are too high for us to fail in Iraq.

London Papers: Madonna Threatened By Palestinian Terrorists

London newspapers are reporting that Madonna has cancelled her planned concerts in Israel - a part of her “Reinvention” tour - after a Palestinian terrorist group threatened her and her children.

Madonna insists she wanted to proceed with the tour but her tour manager made the decision to cancel the performance.  Madonna had irked many conservatives when she included a portion of her performance to preaching for an anti-war message.  Madonna has been an outspoken critic of the War in Iraq and the War on Terrorism.  One of her recent videos includes a segment where she throws a grenade into the lap of President Bush.
