The Obama Administration is under fire on multiple fronts this week, but the most disturbing is the information that has come out about Benghazi. We know this: Americans died, maybe because of ination in Washington, and the story from the Obama Administration was clearly false.

Obama and Clinton have been trying to defend his administration’s attempts to cover up the true reason behind the Benghazi attack that killed US Ambassador Chris Stephens, Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith, and Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.

MAF has been addressing Benghazi since the very beginning, last fall. It’s far too important to ignore, and we owe it to the 4 Americans who lost their lives to keep the fight going until justice is served.

The Obama White House believed news of a major terrorist attack on his
watch would be devastating to his re-election efforts, just months away.

Let’s be clear. This is a major scandal if the Administration failed to act and then lied about it for political purposes. Watergate or Whitewater pale in comparison because four Americans died in Benghazi. The saddest thing about it is that even months later, many members of the public still don’t realize how the President and his surrogates spun a story before the election that was proven to be totally false.

While everyone now knows that the attack on our consulate was by Al-Qaeda affiliated jihadists, for over 100 hours after the attack, the Obama administration was trying to sweep this fact under the rug, and convince people that a silly and juvenile youtube video was the cause of this terrorist attack.

President Obama defended himself saying “the whole issue of talking points, frankly, throughout this process has been a sideshow,” trying to demean the motivations of thousands of Americans who simply want the truth. They want to know WHY – - Why were our people allowed to die? Why was the military told to stand down rather than get to Benghazi and beat back the attackers? Why wasn’t air power used to repel the terrorists?

“Suddenly, three days ago, it gets spun up as if there’s something new to the story.” said Obama, trying to basically re-write history along the claim that the White House was always on the level and honest with the American people about the nature of the attack.

Jay Carney, Obama’s Press Secretary, during a tense White House Press Conference on Friday insisted that they never tried to blame the youtube video and that they never doctored the CIA talking points to downplay the Al Qaeda element.

It’s almost too ridiculous to believe. Here we have literally dozens of videos and transcripts of Susan Rice all over TV blaming the video.The day after the attack Obama stood in the White House rose garden and said “we reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others” obviously referring to the video!

Hillary Clinton criticized and blamed the video while standing in front of the flag draped coffins shortly after they came off the plane that brought the bodies back from where they fell in Libya.Move America Forward has been battling the lies and fighting to shed light on the truth. There are many good members of Congress who are also trying to get the truth from the Obama Administration and expose the manipulation that occurred here. Move America Forward Calls for More Transparency
& Investigation in Light of Newly Revealed Information

Sacramento, Calif. – Move America Forward, the nation’s largest grassroots pro-troop organization, called on Congress to launch more investigations into the Benghazi incident and the cover up by the Obama administration, particularly the conduct of then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“State Department officials have been coming forward in recent weeks, telling Congress some disturbing details about what could have been done to respond to the terrorist attack on our diplomats in Benghazi. These facts reveal a number of lies told by the administration.” said Danny Gonzalez, Director of Communications for the group.

State Department official Gregory Hicks revealed that U.S. Special Ops forces were told to stand down despite the fact that they were ready to go into Benghazi with time to save Ambassador Chris Stevens and his fellow diplomats. Hicks also revealed that he was instructed by Clinton’s Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills not to cooperate with the investigation led by U.S. Rep. Chaffetz while in Libya.

“This is clear evidence that there was indeed a cover-up, and that Clinton’s office was behind it and attempted to coerce State Department officials into being complicit in the cover-up.  The American people should be furious about this.” said Gonzalez.

“Hillary Clinton told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on January 23, that there were ‘no delays in decision making, no denials of support from Washington or from our military.’ Telling Special Ops forces not to go save the lives of U.S. Diplomats under fire sounds like a denial of support. So why did Secretary Clinton lie to the Senate during sworn testimony and why did she direct her subordinates to coordinate a cover-up of the whole incident?” asked Gonzalez.

Islamic Jihad still threat two years later

Sacramento, Calif. – On the two year anniversary of Osama bin Laden’s death Move America Forward the Nation’s largest grassroots pro-troop organization urges President Obama to remember that the threat of radical Islam to America has not diminished and that we must remain vigilant in identifying Islamic jihad threats and treat those who carry out acts of terror with the seriousness they deserve.

“The recent Boston Marathon terrorist attack shows us that the War on Terror is far from over and the threat of Islamic jihad is as real today as it was before Osama bin Laden was killed.” Said Scott Raab, Outreach Director for Move America Forward. “The Boston Marathon was not because of Tax Day or any of the other reasons media outlets tried to suggest, it was because of Islamic jihad, and we need to remember attacks like Benghazi even if they seem like a long time ago to the white house”.

To stop the questioning of Dzhokhar and give a terrorist access to a lawyer, effectively stopping valuable information on other terrorists, terror plots and high level information is inexcusable. It has been two years since Seal Team Six found and killed Osama bin Laden, but the Boston Marathon terrorist attack and attacks on our embassies are a clear sign that our enemies are not beaten.

Move America Forward is Proud to Honor Staff Sgt. Rex L. Schad Staff Sgt.  Rex L. Schad, 26 was killed in action on March 11, 2013 in Jalrez, Wardak Province, while conducting a patrol brief with Afghanistan National Police. He was assigned to Company A. 3rd Battalion; 69th Armor, 1BCT, Fort Stewart, GA, serving as a Squad Leader on his 2nd deployment to Afghanistan. SSG Shad was assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division in Korea. During his seven years of Army service, SSG Schad has been awarded a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, three Army Commendation Medals, one with Valor; two Army Achievement Medals, two Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign with Bronze Star, Combat Infantryman Badge and Expert Infantryman Badge. At his Military funeral in Oklahoma, his platoon leader, 1st Lt. David Swanson, who traveled with the body all the way from Afghanistan, said that Rex was the best squad leader in the Battalion and perhaps in the entire Division.

These care packages are a brand new program to support active duty troops receiving care at Walter Reed by sending them supplies they need during their stay.

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is the Nation’s Medical Center, proudly serving military beneficiaries in the Washington, D.C. area as well as those from across the country and around the globe. During the height of the Iraq war, thousands of injured troops received life-saving treatment at Walter Reed. The historic facility at Walter Reed continues today to serve some of the most badly injured heroes, so we are doing our part to support them with MAF’s latest and greatest program.

As the largest military medical center in the U.S., Walter Reed is a tertiary care destination providing services in over 100 clinics and specialties. Proud to be known as the first destination in the continental United States for caring for the wounded, ill and injured from global conflicts.

We can’t ask these brave men and women to serve in harm’s way, and then forget about them! There is a responsibility and a debt we owe to each and every service member. Now that they have served and made sacrifices for our freedom, we must take care of them.

Our wounded troops and vets need your help! Give thanks to our active duty troops and veterans by providing personal “Ditty Bags” full of the items requested by the VA and Walter Reed!

When bombs started exploding and terrorism brought confusion and panic to the streets of Boston, members of the Massachussetts Army National Guard snapped right to action to help the wounded.

1st Sergeant Bernard Madore was one of several troops present when the attack happened, and like his fellow soldiers, they showed why U.S. troops are the best in the world.

1st sgt., fellow Guardsmen aid injured at Boston tragedy April 20, 2013 By Meghann Myers, Staff WriterFirst Sgt. Bernard Madore spent most of the Boston Marathon doing what first sergeants do: keeping his men on track, joking around, playfully shouting at the other runners to “get up the hill!”The fun came to an abrupt end the afternoon of April 15, when two explosive devices went off near the finish line, killing three and injuring more than 180. That’s when Madore’s training kicked in.“I started looking up and around as soon as it went off to see where’s it going?” Madore told Army Times. “And then there was a secondary bomb, so we paused to look around, because you don’t know if somebody’s going to start shooting or what.” Madore and several other soldiers from the Massachusetts National Guard’s 1,060th Transportation Company had ruck-marched the 26.2-mile race to raise money for the nonprofit Military Friends Foundation. They were waiting in a medical tent for the last members of their group to catch up when the first blast went off around the corner. The men rushed toward the scene and immediately began helping first-responders tear down a barricade that separated spectators from the marathon route. When the uninjured were freed, it was on to the next step. “A medical assistant yelled at me, ‘Hey, Army guy! Go do triage!’ ” Madore recalled. For his part, Madore, a 26-year National Guard veteran with two deployments to Iraq, has returned home to Derry, N.H., but not without a changed perspective. “I’ve seen bombs go off and accidents and blood and gore,” he said. “Just to see that there – especially in the streets where I grew up – it was really devastating to me that this happened on our ground. And how dare they?”

We are thankful for the heroism displayed by Madore and his fellow Guardsmen.  They ran towards the sound of violence, without hesitation, to help the innocent people harmed in this evil and senseless act of terrorism.

Their willingness to put their own lives at risk, not knowing if they might be running into an ambush, a hail of gunfire, or another bomb blast, shows the awesome and selfless caliber of the men and women who serve in our armed forces.

According to official reports so far, none of those injured in the blasts were reported to be military, but while we are lucky that no troops were injuried on that day, there are injured troops at Walter Reed receiving treatment who need your help! THEY DESERVE BETTER!

The VA continues to make news this month targeted for lacking efficiency or expediency, thanks to the inneficiency caused by a failed domestic policy. Unfortunately, our troops often encounter too much difficulty trying to get the care they deserve.

The VA Hospitals suffer from having to deal with the inefficient and bloated federal bureacracy. Regulations interfere with their ability to provide care for our troops. As a result, Veterans who have nowhere else to go for healthcare have no choice but to deal with the long waits and vent their frustrations later.

House Impatient with VA’s Disability Backlog by Susan Crabtree April 18, 2013 President Obama touts veterans care as a top priority of his presidency, but lawmakers increasingly weary of the long waits and hassles that veterans face in receiving disability benefits are pressuring Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric K. Shinsheki to produce results.With thousands of service members returning from Afghanistan and Iraq and trying to transition to civilian jobs, Mr. Obama and Congress have expanded the VA budget each year since 2009, doling out $25 billion in extra spending every year and sparing it from sequestration while other agencies have seen their budgets pinched.But the extra money hasn’t solved problems that have plagued the agency for decades and been exacerbated by the wars. As thousands of new veterans have flooded into the system, they wait months sometimes years to have their disability claims processed.There’s a glut of nearly a million pending disability claims at Veteran Affairs, 630,000 of which have been in limbo for more than 125 days, up from 164,000 in October 2009.

Nearly a million claims still waiting for attention…if the government can’t provide for our troops…who will? Is there nothing we can do about this?

We can’t just stand by and let our troops suffer while we look the other way. We aren’t doctors or care providers, so unfortunately we can’t step in and do the government’s job for them, but we will do whatever we can to help our troops.
