OBAMA’S BENGHAZI SCANDAL ERUPTING
But Do Americans Realize What’s Really Going On?

The Obama Administration is under fire on multiple fronts this week, but the most disturbing is the information that has come out about Benghazi. We know this: Americans died, maybe because of ination in Washington, and the story from the Obama Administration was clearly false.

Obama and Clinton have been trying to defend his administration’s attempts to cover up the true reason behind the Benghazi attack that killed US Ambassador Chris Stephens, Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith, and Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.

MAF has been addressing Benghazi since the very beginning, last fall. It’s far too important to ignore, and we owe it to the 4 Americans who lost their lives to keep the fight going until justice is served.

The Obama White House believed news of a major terrorist attack on his
watch would be devastating to his re-election efforts, just months away.

Let’s be clear. This is a major scandal if the Administration failed to act and then lied about it for political purposes. Watergate or Whitewater pale in comparison because four Americans died in Benghazi. The saddest thing about it is that even months later, many members of the public still don’t realize how the President and his surrogates spun a story before the election that was proven to be totally false.

Help us GET THE FACTS and set the record straight. Please make a donation to Move America Forward now so we can stay on the forefront of this major fight for the truth.

While everyone now knows that the attack on our consulate was by Al-Qaeda affiliated jihadists, for over 100 hours after the attack, the Obama administration was trying to sweep this fact under the rug, and convince people that a silly and juvenile youtube video was the cause of this terrorist attack.

President Obama defended himself saying “the whole issue of talking points, frankly, throughout this process has been a sideshow,” trying to demean the motivations of thousands of Americans who simply want the truth. They want to know WHY – - Why were our people allowed to die? Why was the military told to stand down rather than get to Benghazi and beat back the attackers? Why wasn’t air power used to repel the terrorists?

“Suddenly, three days ago, it gets spun up as if there’s something new to the story.” said Obama, trying to basically re-write history along the claim that the White House was always on the level and honest with the American people about the nature of the attack.

Jay Carney, Obama’s Press Secretary, during a tense White House Press Conference on Friday insisted that they never tried to blame the youtube video and that they never doctored the CIA talking points to downplay the Al Qaeda element.

It’s almost too ridiculous to believe. Here we have literally dozens of videos and transcripts of Susan Rice all over TV blaming the video. The day after the attack Obama stood in the White House rose garden and said “we reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others” obviously referring to the video!

Hillary Clinton criticized and blamed the video while standing in front of the flag draped coffins shortly after they came off the plane that brought the bodies back from where they fell in Libya.Move America Forward has been battling the lies and fighting to shed light on the truth. There are many good members of Congress who are also trying to get the truth from the Obama Administration and expose the manipulation that occurred here. Help us get the word out and tell the truth to the American people!

The truth must be known! The lies must be exposed, and the American people need to understand what this means. This is an important national security issue, not a political sideshow! America is confused about who said what, when it was said, and why they did it . Help us set the record straight!

6th ANNUAL FUNDRAISER BY MOVE AMERICA FORWARD BRINGS TOGETHER
PRO-TROOP MOVIE STARS, MUSICIANS, RADIO AND TV PERSONALITIES

Sacramento, Calif. – Move America Forward, the nation’s largest pro-troop grassroots organization, has announced their 6th star-studded live fundraiser that helps send care packages to American troops deployed in war zones overseas.

“Troopathon 6 – Salute Our Troops” is an 8-hour long fundraiser that brings together pro-troop movie stars, TV personalities, elected officials, professional athletes, musicians, talk radio hosts and many other supporters to encourage viewers to sponsor care packages for the troops serving overseas through the group’s website (www.troopathon.org) or by phone at (866) 866-6372.

Executive Producer Melanie Morgan said, “The Troopathon is unique in that it brings together popular actors, TV and radio hosts, foreign policy experts, musicians, professional athletes, retired military personnel and many others for one event. The big names are exciting, but the cause we come together to support is incredibly important. With over 68,000 troops still on the ground in Afghanistan, we cannot forget their continued service and sacrifice. Move America Forward remains steadfast in our commitment to supporting our troops in harm’s way!”

Morgan will be joined this year by special co-hosts — former Governor and Presidential contender Mike Huckabee and radio host Larry O’Connor, Editor-in-Chief of the Breitbart.tv media network. Huckabee and O’Connor have joined Troopathon to co-host for the first time. Gold-Star Mom Debbie Lee, whose son Marc Alan Lee was the first US Navy SEAL to be killed in the Iraq war, will also join as returning co-host.

In recent years, the Troopathon guest list featured such big-name celebrities as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Dr. Laura, Former President George H.W. Bush, Governor Sarah Palin, Gary Sinise, Kelsey Grammar, John Ondrasik, Mike “Coach K” Krzyzewski, Dennis Miller, and more.

“Troopathon 6 – Salute The Troops” will be produced and broadcast live from the Richard M. Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda, California on Thursday June 27, 2013 from 1-9PM PST (4-9PM Eastern) via the web and simulcast on selected radio stations. This will be the third year the Nixon Library has hosted Troopathon.

The first Troopathon in 2008 raised an unprecedented $1.2 million in care packages for the troops. Through 2012, Troopathon events have raised over $3.5M in sponsorships, enabling the group to send over 215 TONS of care packages to troops overseas. Care packages include letters of support along with high quality food and personal care items like special “Freedom Blend” gourmet coffee, OREO® cookies, beef jerky, Gatorade®, Planters® nuts, Jelly Belly® jelly beans, Hoo-Ahhs® field towels, lip balm, deodorant, sun block, and many other useful items requested by the troops.

Troopathon will officially go live on June 27th filmed on location at the Richard M. Nixon Presidential Library in Orange County, California.

CLINTON AT STATE DEPARTMENT INTERFERED WITH BENGHAZI DEFENSE

Move America Forward Calls for More Transparency
& Investigation in Light of Newly Revealed Information

Sacramento, Calif. – Move America Forward, the nation’s largest grassroots pro-troop organization, called on Congress to launch more investigations into the Benghazi incident and the cover up by the Obama administration, particularly the conduct of then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“State Department officials have been coming forward in recent weeks, telling Congress some disturbing details about what could have been done to respond to the terrorist attack on our diplomats in Benghazi. These facts reveal a number of lies told by the administration.” said Danny Gonzalez, Director of Communications for the group.

State Department official Gregory Hicks revealed that U.S. Special Ops forces were told to stand down despite the fact that they were ready to go into Benghazi with time to save Ambassador Chris Stevens and his fellow diplomats. Hicks also revealed that he was instructed by Clinton’s Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills not to cooperate with the investigation led by U.S. Rep. Chaffetz while in Libya.

“This is clear evidence that there was indeed a cover-up, and that Clinton’s office was behind it and attempted to coerce State Department officials into being complicit in the cover-up. The American people should be furious about this.” said Gonzalez.

“Hillary Clinton told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on January 23, that there were ‘no delays in decision making, no denials of support from Washington or from our military.’ Telling Special Ops forces not to go save the lives of U.S. Diplomats under fire sounds like a denial of support. So why did Secretary Clinton lie to the Senate during sworn testimony and why did she direct her subordinates to coordinate a cover-up of the whole incident?” asked Gonzalez.

Did you know that over 200,000 women have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan? Included in that number are over 85,000 mothers who said goodbye to their husbands, sons and daughters to go overseas and fight for their country.

About 40 percent of active-duty women, or almost 85,000, are mothers, according to a Joint Economic Committee report. And of those, at least 30,000 are single moms.

That’s a lot of American kids who know that Mommy’s not going to make it to the dance recital, won’t be there for the birthday party and, to be perfectly truthful, might not come home at all.

The multi-tasking mom – our worries, our woes, our spit-up-stained business suits and overcommitted volunteering – is practically a walking cliche. But what about when Mom wears fatigues and a bad day means enemy gunfire?

Imagine being halfway around the world, away from your son or daughter for the first time? This is the reality of our modern military family and as Americans it’s up to us to support those troops who bravely sacrifice so much to defend our freedoms.Mother’s day will be especially tough for the thousands of moms still serving over in Afghanistan. It’s a dangerous job and they risk everything to do their duty.Over the weekend 7 U.S. troops were killed in one of the deadliest weekends we’ve seen in Afghanistan this year. Five soldiers were lost in southern Afghanistan when they hit a roadside bomb while on patrol. Another two troops were killed when an insurgent posing as Afghan Nation Army member turned his guns on coalition troops, shaking the confidence of NATO soldiers to work withe Afghans. These tragic events are a stark and disturbing reminder that our troops are serving in harm’s way, especially the moms serving overseas. We are delighted to announce that we’ve just made MOTHER’S DAY care packages available for order on our website! It’s the right time to start sending care packages over to our troops in Afghanistan to reach them by the time Mother’s Day comes this Sunday, May 12th.

Islamic Jihad still threat two years later

Sacramento, Calif. – On the two year anniversary of Osama bin Laden’s death Move America Forward the Nation’s largest grassroots pro-troop organization urges President Obama to remember that the threat of radical Islam to America has not diminished and that we must remain vigilant in identifying Islamic jihad threats and treat those who carry out acts of terror with the seriousness they deserve.

“The recent Boston Marathon terrorist attack shows us that the War on Terror is far from over and the threat of Islamic jihad is as real today as it was before Osama bin Laden was killed.” Said Scott Raab, Outreach Director for Move America Forward. “The Boston Marathon was not because of Tax Day or any of the other reasons media outlets tried to suggest, it was because of Islamic jihad, and we need to remember attacks like Benghazi even if they seem like a long time ago to the white house”.

To stop the questioning of Dzhokhar and give a terrorist access to a lawyer, effectively stopping valuable information on other terrorists, terror plots and high level information is inexcusable. It has been two years since Seal Team Six found and killed Osama bin Laden, but the Boston Marathon terrorist attack and attacks on our embassies are a clear sign that our enemies are not beaten.

Every day, radical muslims dream of carrying out jihad like Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev did on April 15th 2013. We must recognize Islamic jihad as the threat, and stop censoring our efforts in attempt at political correctness.

Mother’s where would we be without them? Mom –the woman who carried us for 9 months, and then endured the pains of child birth, just so we could live. Yet that was just the beginning of the sacrifices that she would make. There would be many sleepless nights, stinky diapers, visits to the doctor for stitches; teacher conferences; wiping away tears; encouraging words; discipline; great sacrifices; and tons of selfless love and support. Many Mothers raised their children as a single parent as I did, which added to the struggles. At the age of 23 I found myself divorced, with a 3 year old, 18 month old and pregnant. There was no child support, no help and at times it looked like there was no light at the end of the tunnel. My children were the reason I persevered, I had to. It was not easy and I won’t pretend that I was the perfect parent, my children could tell you otherwise, but I did the best I knew how. With three adult children and 8 grandchildren I know look back and question. “What happened to the tunnel???????” We survived, we made it, and each one of my children is impacting the world in their own unique ways. You often here me speak of my son Marc, the first Navy SEAL killed in Iraq, but I am just as proud of my other two children Kristofer and Cheryl.
Each one of us need to honor the Mother that God gave us as we approach Mother’s Day, but I would also challenge you to reach out and honor a military mother on Mother’s Day.Our Gold Star Mother’s find this holiday to be extremely difficult. They have given their very best for this nation, and this is another one of those days that is a reminder of the loss of our fallen hero. If you know a Gold Star Mother take her to lunch, bring her flowers, chocolate, or a gift certificate for a spa day, just to let her know you remember and you have not forgotten that sacrifice.

Our Blue Star Mother’s have raised warriors who daily are fighting for our freedoms. Many have their children in the combat zone and try to carry on and function knowing that their child is fighting the terrorists in the hills of Afghanistan.

The wives and mothers of our deployed warriors who are at home, raising their children and keeping the home functioning and running, filling the role of both Mommy and Daddy until their hero returns.

Hopefully you tell your Mom thank you often and love and honor her. If you are a Gold Star Mother, my heart understands and deeply embraces you today and I will never forget. To each and every Mother who raised a warrior who fought in any conflict for my freedoms, thank you, job well done. To those moms whose hero is deployed, I say, Hooyah, Hoorah, Hoohah, keep, keepin on!

I would love to hear back if you accept my challenge to honor a military Mother and what you did for them. You can reply to me at Debbie@moveamericaforward.org.

This Mother’s Day I will be thanking God that he gave me the blessing of being a mother to three children by birth, and so many “adopted” children by the brotherhood of service.

Remembering our Mothers,
Dear Friends, we are extremely proud and excited about our newest program to support the troops! MAF has entered into partnership with Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), ‘Where the Nation Heals Its Heroes’ with our new Wounded Warrior Care Packages (WWCP). These care packages are a brand new program to support active duty troops receiving care at Walter Reed by sending them supplies they need during their stay.

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is the Nation’s Medical Center, proudly serving military beneficiaries in the Washington, D.C. area as well as those from across the country and around the globe. During the height of the Iraq war, thousands of injured troops received life-saving treatment at Walter Reed. The historic facility at Walter Reed continues today to serve some of the most badly injured heroes, so we are doing our part to support them with MAF’s latest and greatest program.

As the largest military medical center in the U.S., Walter Reed is a tertiary care destination providing services in over 100 clinics and specialties. Proud to be known as the first destination in the continental United States for caring for the wounded, ill and injured from global conflicts.

The Medical Center combines the proud history and commitment to excellence of these two great Navy and Army medicine icons. Over 8 million veterans are enrolled in the Department of Veteran Affairs System which they rely on for everything from routine checkups to life saving surgery. With this in mind, MAF has launched “Wounded Warrior Care Packages” (WWCP)

Our Active Duty Heroes at Walter Reed and every Veteran patient at a VA Hospital in the United States has use for a personal patient kit. In partnership with Walter Reed and the VA, we have developed a care package that contains the essentials for personal hygiene, grooming, and extras to help incoming patients during their treatment, which you can sponsor for a small donation.

Help us take care of our wounded Veterans who have returned home for treatment by donating a MAF WWCP. These bags will be delivered to Walter Reed and to local VA hospitals and distributed to Veterans coming in for extended treatment.
Our Wounded Warrior Care Packages come in a durable, flame retardant “Cinch Bag” filled to the brim with items the VA has requested, which wounded Vets need. A special compartment keeps paper work separate from the rest of the bag.

Each bag contains essentials they will need like high quality hospital socks for cold floors, 10 piece toothbrush kits, toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, lip balm, and other approved personal hygienic items. We also include a deck of playing cards, candy, and sugar-free chewing gum.

As you well know, many of our Veterans or troops returning home from Afghanistan or Iraq have life-altering injuries sustained in the line of fire, protecting our freedoms and liberties. Some patients may be Vietnam or Desert Storm Veterans who made sacrifices for our nation decades ago, or Active Duty coming from Afghanistan. Help us support our heroes. Your donation matters.

When bombs started exploding and terrorism brought confusion and panic to the streets of Boston, members of the Massachussetts Army National Guard snapped right to action to help the wounded.

1st Sergeant Bernard Madore was one of several troops present when the attack happened, and like his fellow soldiers, they showed why U.S. troops are the best in the world.

By Meghann Myers, Staff WriterFirst Sgt. Bernard Madore spent most of the Boston Marathon doing what first sergeants do: keeping his men on track, joking around, playfully shouting at the other runners to “get up the hill!”The fun came to an abrupt end the afternoon of April 15, when two explosive devices went off near the finish line, killing three and injuring more than 180. That’s when Madore’s training kicked in.“I started looking up and around as soon as it went off to see where’s it going?” Madore told Army Times. “And then there was a secondary bomb, so we paused to look around, because you don’t know if somebody’s going to start shooting or what.”

Madore and several other soldiers from the Massachusetts National Guard’s 1,060th Transportation Company had ruck-marched the 26.2-mile race to raise money for the nonprofit Military Friends Foundation. They were waiting in a medical tent for the last members of their group to catch up when the first blast went off around the corner.

The men rushed toward the scene and immediately began helping first-responders tear down a barricade that separated spectators from the marathon route. When the uninjured were freed, it was on to the next step.

“A medical assistant yelled at me, ‘Hey, Army guy! Go do triage!’ ” Madore recalled.

For his part, Madore, a 26-year National Guard veteran with two deployments to Iraq, has returned home to Derry, N.H., but not without a changed perspective.

“I’ve seen bombs go off and accidents and blood and gore,” he said. “Just to see that there – especially in the streets where I grew up – it was really devastating to me that this happened on our ground. And how dare they?”

We are thankful for the heroism displayed by Madore and his fellow Guardsmen. They ran towards the sound of violence, without hesitation, to help the innocent people harmed in this evil and senseless act of terrorism.

Their willingness to put their own lives at risk, not knowing if they might be running into an ambush, a hail of gunfire, or another bomb blast, shows the awesome and selfless caliber of the men and women who serve in our armed forces.

According to official reports so far, none of those injured in the blasts were reported to be military, but while we are lucky that no troops were injuried on that day, there are injured troops at Walter Reed receiving treatment who need your help! Please help us send Ditty Bags to recovering troops at WRMMC.

The VA continues to make news this month targeted for lacking efficiency or expediency, thanks to the inneficiency caused by a failed domestic policy.
The VA Hospitals suffer from having to deal with the inefficient and bloated federal bureacracy. Regulations interfere with their ability to provide care for our troops. President Obama touts veterans care as a top priority of his presidency, but lawmakers increasingly weary of the long waits and hassles that veterans face in receiving disability benefits are pressuring Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric K. Shinsheki to produce results. With thousands of service members returning from Afghanistan and Iraq and trying to transition to civilian jobs, Mr. Obama and Congress have expanded the VA budget each year since 2009, doling out $25 billion in extra spending every year and sparing it from sequestration while other agencies have seen their budgets pinched. But the extra money hasn’t solved problems that have plagued the agency for decades and been exacerbated by the wars. As thousands of new veterans have flooded into the system, they wait months sometimes years to have their disability claims processed. There’s a glut of nearly a million pending disability claims at Veteran Affairs, 630,000 of which have been in limbo for more than 125 days, up from 164,000 in October 2009.

Nearly a million claims still waiting for attention…if the government can’t provide for our troops…who will? Is there nothing we can do about this?

We can’t just stand by and let our troops suffer while we look the other way. We aren’t doctors or care providers, so unfortunately we can’t step in and do the government’s job for them, but we will do whatever we can to help our troops. We developed the “Ditty Bags” as a way to provide support and a little bit of care for our veterans and troops receiving treatment at VA Hospitals and Military Medical Centers.

It’s the best we can do to try to help our troops who, years after serving, continue to suffer from injuries they received in the line of duty. Won’t you help these veterans today? Click here to sponsor a ditty bag now.
