SUPPORT THE 3RD SPECIAL FORCES GROUP!
DON’T FORGET ABOUT OUR
TROOPS ON THE FRONT LINES!
With all the news stories about the government shutdown and the debt ceiling dominating the news, it’s important that we don’t forget our troops who are still serving on the front lines!
Many pro-troop supporters have donated
to our latest effort to help out the 3rd Special Forces Group
in need. They are fighting in the tough eastern province of Wardak, close to the Pakistan border where Taliban and Al Qaeda forces are still attacking. We have set a goal to raise $15,000 to help these brave Special Forces troops
with care packages from home – full of goodies and items to help them get through a tough deployment.
These care packages will let them know that we still support them! We’ve already raised $7,481 towards our goal! Help us reach our goal of $15,000!
Help us adopt the 3rd SFG who are back in Afghanistan RIGHT NOW and they need our support! A care package sent from a stranger back home will warm the hearts of even the most grizzled and hardened warriors like those of the 3rd SFG.

The 3rd Special Forces Group is based out of Fort Bragg, NC. The unit was formed and activated on December 5, 1963 and was created from several other Special Forces groups brought together to create a unique and versatile fighting force. Deployed mostly during the Vietnam War, the group was disbanded in 1969 until 1990 when it was reactivated once again to fight for their country! The 3rd SFG was used for many specialized missions in the first Persian Gulf War in 1991 including a daring raid to secure the US Embassy in occupied Kuwait. Since 9/11 they have been heavily involved in the Middle East.
Today the 3rd Special Forces Group is fighting in the dangerous remote Wardak province of Afghanistan, where attacks from the Taliban are still fierce and frequent.
Last month the 3rd SFG lost one of their team leaders in a battle with the Taliban. That is always a very tough loss to deal. We need to let these troops know that we are with them and that we support them in this time of great need.
Help us support the 3rd SFG right now. Please send them some help to lift their spirits and help them get past this difficult and personal loss!
