Benghazi One Year Later

This Wednesday will be September 11th, a day that will mark 12 years since Al Qaeda murdered 3,000 innocents in the worst terrorist attack in history, as well as one year since we lost 4 Americans in a terrorist attack in Benghazi.

We must never forget the countless attacks that we’ve endured as a nation over the years, or else we risk forgetting the real peril facing our nation in the fight against radical Islamists fixated on killing infidels like us.

Consider making a donation to our troops overseas who are fighting the same terrorist groups who planned the attack on the World Trade Center, Pentagon and in Benghazi!

Our troops need your support! They are still fighting for your freedoms in Afghanistan and it can get lonely on long deployments. These care packages will boost morale and provide much needed support along with great items like coffee, cookies, beef jerky, Gatorade and much more! Take a look at everything that comes in this package!

In the 12 months since the fatal attack on the American consulate in Benghazi Libya, we still do not have the answers demanded from President Obama about why we had our guard down and why no action was taken to save the 4 Americans in our besieged diplomatic station.

Because nothing was done and help did not come faster, American Ambassador Christopher Stevens was killed. Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith and Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were also killed by the terrorists overrunning the diplomatic post.

Why was nothing done faster to get Marines or Special Forces into Benghazi to assist our Ambassador? Why were jets or helicopters not scrambled from nearby airbases and why was significant evidence ignored that was gathered by local agents indicating that an attack was coming? Why were repeated requests for extra security denied? Where is the White House timeline of the President’s minute by minute activities during the evening of the attack? And most importantly why are we now, 12 months later, still asking questions and still getting no answers from Obama and his Department of State.

While the news is on fire with stories about President Obama possibly taking us to war again in Syria, it is important to look back at what happened in Libya because of the current administration ignoring repeated pleas for more security in Benghazi only weeks before disaster struck. Would President Obama and his team make the same mistakes in Syria?

Move America Forward will be honoring the fallen Americans lost in the terrorist attacks on 9/11 in New York City, Shanksville, Pennsylvania, Washington, DC, and Benghazi Libya. This Wednesday September 11th, MAF will be participating in memorial services, stay tuned for more details!
