MAF Gets Platinum Status Upgrade from Charity Rating Group
Pro-military non-profit MOVE AMERICA FORWARD receives PLATINUM status upgrade from popular charity rating agency GUIDESTAR
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Move America Forward (MAF) announced today that it has been honored with an upgrade to Platinum Level Participant from Guidestar, the leading provider of nonprofit organizations ratings and evaluations.
“We are very proud and excited to be named a Platinum Participant,” says Scott Raab, Outreach Director, Move America Forward. “For the third year in a row we have been recognized as one of the top charities supporting our troops, and being upgraded from Gold to Platinum level shows that we’re making progress and our efforts are paying off. We work hard every day to make sure our supporters know we appreciate their time and effort.”
“Without our committed supporters, nothing MAF does would be possible.” says Raab. “The gift of a care package is so much more than just the goodies and most requested items we send, it is the comforts of home to warriors that serve so far away overseas.”
The Platinum level rating awarded to Move America Forward is based on each nonprofit’s mission, legitimacy, impact, reputation, finances, programs, transparency, governance, and so much more from information provided by Move America Forward and data collected by Guidestar. Guidestar is used as a reference by thousands of organizations and agencies including the Department of Defense to evaluate non-profits.
